Breakdown Cover

Post by FigSlice » Wed Mar 13, 2024 3:03 pm

When I bought my current car, the price included breakdown cover for a year with GenAssist. I have recently renewed the car’s insurance, this time with a national motoring organisation, probably best known for breakdown cover. I have been offered a discount on their breakdown cover. Wanting to compare cover and customer satisfaction for both providers, I cannot find online reviews for GenAssist. Does anyone have experience of using GenAssist?

GenAssist, not Breakdown Assist. But will be crossing the latter off my ‘to check’ list!

My sincere apologies, not sure what happened there.

The apparent absence of reviews, however, would lead me
to look elsewhere.

I’ve been using RescueMyCar for a few years now. I’ve only needed to use them once but they were good. I get full cover for £17 per year. That’s ridiculously cheap. Use this link and they’ll give you a £5 gift card as well

Thanks for that, one to add to my compare list. Still hoping to get comments from someone who has experience of GenAssist.
