I think the shift in momentum had far more to do with Brian Mbuemo’s introduction than Amdouni’s.
Mbueno was excellent.

Fully agreed with bringing Amdouni on in honesty. We were 2-0 but the momentum was slipping, we struggle at winding the clock down and just being assertive & composed, nobody seems to want to do it except 1 or 2 players which tends to mean it doesn't come off well when we do. Bringing Zeki on to try get a few shots off and maybe kill it with a third made sense to me.
Didn't work, he got a couple shots off but was very lightweight in possession and we started getting broken against easier, but I get the reason in bringing him on, and in bringing him back off.

Agree with bring8ng him on and agreed with his substitution after the yellow. Excellent decisive game management. Personally, I would try Amdouni further forward during games. I think we are expecting too much of him and this is why he gets such negative comments. I think we should use him as more of a Danny Ings type penalty box player, so that his twists and turns would create goalscoring chances.

After the sending off and the goal, Brentford managed to see out the rest of the first half at walking pace.
Not sure what game you watched, we missed two open nets after scoring in the first half.

Is wanting someone to look like they're bothered when they lose the ball 'expecting too much'?

The biggest reasons that game swung a bit yesterday were:
A) Brentford threw caution to the wind brought Mbuemo and Maupay on to play three up front and left them up there, instead of just Toney on his own.

B) in their tactical shift (above) they also pushed their fullbacks higher and we naturally as a side without a win in so long started to panic.

C) Vitinho whi had an otherwise good game failed to mark his man and track his run giving him a free header to increase our nerves.

Amdouni was nowhere near as bad as some are making out. It wasn’t down to him. He was right to be hooked again after the booking and foul, though shifting Odobert, who is so poor defensively, out wide once again (as with Bournemouth and West Ham games) had more of an impact on why the opponents started to have more joy.

I've not seen anything to suggest he's made for English football. I suspect he'll be off in the summer
Definitely, he doesn't have the workrate for starters. The English game is levels above other leagues in terms of physicality and he doesn't seem able or willing to do the hard yards.
