Bury will be at home in the play off semi final next Tuesday. Their opponents are unknown because Charnock Richard have 2 league games left & if they win them both (they're at Colne tomorrow night) then they will displace Kendal in the play offs & travel to Bury while Padiham will go to Wythenshawe Town. If Charnock miss out then Bury will be at home to Padiham & Kendal away to Wythenshawe Town. Simples!

Charnock Richard won again beating Colne 1-0.

They now play Pilkington Saturday and if they win will go into 4th and put Padiham 5th meaning we will play Wythenshawe Town.

It’s more than likely Charnock will win. Pilkington are 3rd bottom and get beat heavily most weeks.

Padiham got beat 1-0. Wythenshawe were slightly the better team with some very athletic players.
George Boyd played but I didn't notice him much.

Padiham had a disallowed goal ruled out. The goal scorer certainly weren't off but maybe the lad who crossed it got a late flag?

Great support for Padiham. Had over half the ground there tonight. Never new Padiham were that well supported.

Padiham weren’t at it all tonight, Wythenshawe very direct and physical, a lot of big physical lads.

Very good support from Padiham easily over 200 id say.

Padiham goal ruled off for offside was never off so should of put us 1-0 up.

Thought the ref was very poor, I said before the game now young he and the linesmen looked and said they shouldn’t be reffing a game of this size, it showed he was terrible have everything to the home team and how did the number 9 not get booked when he could of had 3 yellows.

Wythenshawe v Bury in the final Saturday at Wythenshawe.

Ground only holds 1,400 and Bury get 300.

It’s 50/50 split of the gate receipts in the play offs I wonder do Wythenshawe ask to give up home advantage and play at Bury where there will be 6/7k on to get a lot of money for a club at that level ? Wythenshawe could make 30/40k off that game alone. £10 a ticket at Bury.

A few of the lads were questioning if Wythenshawe ground would be up to scratch if promoted.
