1996/1997 away shirt
I’ve been after this shirt for a while for the collection but can’t find it anywhere for sale. Has anyone got a size small they want to sell or know anyone that will be willing to part with one. Thank you
It’s the adidas blue and white one by the way

You can buy the replica of this (absolutely beautiful) shirt in the club shop. When I went in before the Brentford game the retro shirts were all discounted too.

It's a great shirt I think they were £25 but I don't think I saw the green and black one which is another great shirt.

A nice looking shirt if it wasn't for the word "Endsleigh" on the chest.
My favourite Burnley shirt was issued under Barry Kilby if my memory serves me right.
I bought/have a couple of them they ware roll neck all Claret with sky blue short sleeves and no sponsors name on the front or back of the shirt.

We did add the club website as ‘sponsor’ for the latter part of the season.

And then we lent it to another club (I forget who) due to a kit clash and promptly beat them!

Wasn't the 96/97 away kit the yellow Adidas one in the Waddle season? I've just sold that very yellow shirt to someone on Vinted and said it was that season (unless I'm getting confused).RVclaret90 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 9:31 amI’ve been after this shirt for a while for the collection but can’t find it anywhere for sale. Ah yes, you are right. 96/97 was Heath. And the away kit that season was a belter!

I think the yellow one was 1997 yes
It’s the blue and white striped one I’m after. I remember as a kid seeing one of my dads programmes and we wore it to play Liverpool in the FA Cup

This one is labelled up as 97/98 but it's a large:

My first ever burnley shirt. I know we were crap at the time but the kits and training gear were smart being sponsored by AdidasJakubs Tash wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 12:26 pmWasn't the 96/97 away kit the yellow Adidas one in the Waddle season? Re: 1996/1997 away shirt
RVClaret, are you still looking for this shirt? I have one in size Medium in pretty good condition. If you want it, I will bring it with me to the Wolves match on Tuesday 2nd April. I am likely to be late getting there due to my son working in Leeds centre until 6 pm. I can meet you after the match to hand it over to you. Probably a quiet place to avoid the mass of people leaving the ground might be between the Park View and the chippy behind it.

Just to confirm, is it the shirt shown in the Retro Shirts link in Selby Claret's post immediately after your original post in this thread?
