I'll be happy if we ever see a player of his class for us again.

His allegiance would be with Mr D and his team, for football coaching etc, however, his allegiance to a club in the UK would always be Burnley. The crowd changed his life positively.

Steven Defour and Vincent Kompany were both members of the Belgium squad in 2014 world cup.

Of course, Sean Dyche did a lot for Steven Defour, just as Steven Defour did a lot for Burnley when he played for Burnley.

Tomorrow we are at Stamford Bridge. I will always remember, as I'm sure many other Clarets fans will, 12th August 2017 when Burnley were 0-3 ahead at half-time at Stamford Bridge and winning the game against the reigning Premier League champions 2-3. Steven Defour was magnificent in that game.

Been watching since 2002. He's probably the very best player we've had since then.

There's 5 that are clear of the rest for me: Defour, Ings, Trippier, Cahill, Jay Rod with a special mention for Heaton and Pope.

Absolutely brilliant, I've seen nothing quite like it.

Best player I've seen play for us and by some distance. If not for injuries he'd have been in the Champions League year in year out.

The best player I’ve seen in a Burnley shirt since starting watching in the early 90s. A joy to watch.

Is that a riot shield partially in front of Steve Stone?
Training sessions must be brutal if you need one of them :o

Steven Defour added something unique to that excellent, 100% committed team - control. He was able to do as he wished, whenvhe decided the time was right.
