Penalty ref!
Re: TODAYS FOOTY
Still have hopes for Twine. Just seems a bit light-weight, but as he matures that can be mended.
Re: TODAYS FOOTY
Really poor game so far. Both sides so wasteful in possession.

Re: TODAYS FOOTY
Which one? I missed the challenge on the Leicester winger but Choudurys’ block on Dickie was 100% a pen. Dickie running in attacking the cross, Choudury with his back to the ball blocks him then wrestles him to the floor. Stupid woman summarising says 50/50. She’s just been on with a replay agreeing that he never looks at the ball.

Refs letting lots go. Don't mind that, but he's going to have to keep a lid on it.

Refs have been letting things go for the last couple of months. If they are going to change interpretations they should at least announce it so everybody knows where they stand.Buxtonclaret wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 12:58 pmThink they could have been given either.

Twine's taken up really good really good goalscoring positions on several occasions, but seems to have been ignored in preference to Wells.

Another defeat for Leicester, the wheels are really falling off.

When Wells was waiting to come on it showed Mehmeti and he looked sure he was about to be hooked. They took Conway off and within two minutes he bags the winner.

It would be amazing if Leicester missed out on an automtic promotion spot after their start to the season.

For the 1000000th time -
Last seasons achievement cannot ever be understated (which FAR too many on here have this year). It all just clicked, we were absolutely incredible.

Re: TODAYS FOOTY
I seem to remember some on here in October saying they would easily smash the points record too
Re: TODAYS FOOTY
Hey, we can't be too harsh on Leicester. After all, we lost eight games too.
But over the course of two seasons.
Think Burnley's last couple of Championship campaigns don't get enough praise or respect from neutrals.

Re: TODAYS FOOTY
Echo the above - too many dismissive about what we did last season. ‘The league is low quality’ etc etc. A lot of the same people were saying Leicester would walk it while breaking records. Recent results prove that league is an absolute slog.

Re: TODAYS FOOTY
We walked the league last season and it was a fantastic achievement.
Not overly surprising though given we had decent players available from the season before and spent A LOT of money in both windows compared to everyone else.

Zaroury pony again today and hooked after an hour.
£40,000,000
£40,000,000
Re: TODAYS FOOTY
Our last three, I'd say. 13 losses in 138 Championship games is stunning. Only six of the current Championship have lost fewer than 13 games this season alone.

Here we go again ... 'we spent more than everyone else' crap
You sound like the bturd fans I know who banged on about how we 'bought the league', oh hang on a minute...
Erm, we lost abot 18 players sold for about 70m, massively reduced the wage bill and spent less than half of the money recouped on a collection of players no one had heard of.
But yeah whatever fits your agenda.

Re: TODAYS FOOTY
Not that SofaScore rankings are the be all and end all but Zaroury was the highest ranked player today for Hull with 7.5, with their right back and keeper looking like they've had a mare.
Substituting wingers after an hour isn't an indication that they've been poor - I mean it can be but it can also be for tactical / shape reasons.

Some good stats there, won the ball a lot, passed accurately.
