Muric 10
Assignon 6
Vitinho 3 - before I get stick for this I implore people to watch the game again from a neutral standpoint. Every single chance they created (and there was a lot) came from his mistakes. Stupid throw ins, stupidly diving in, giving the ball away. He's utterly dreadful as a full back
Esteve 9
O Shea 8
Cullen 9
Berge 9 This guy is an absolute joy to watch.
Odobert 6
Bruun Larsson 7
Amdouni 5
Foster 5 - He wasn't fit and seemed to be under instruction not to waste his energy and just stay central. Nearly paid off when he was there fir his 1 big chance

Rodriguez 9 - his touch was absolutely first class. That's what Premier League quality is.
JBG 6 - Helped to shut down that side but Vitinho still kept trying to give the game away

Muric 9* - crucial saves kept us in it. Mad as a hatter but he’s turning into a hell of a keeper.
Assignon 6
Vitinho 7 - poor first half, improved second.
Esteve 8
O’Shea 8 - best performance in a Burnley shirt.
Cullen 9
Berge 8
Odobert 7
Bruun Larsen 6
Amdouni 5
Foster 6

Taylor 9
Brownhill 8
Rodriguez 8
Gudmundsson 7

Best performance of the season by a country mile. Subs all made a difference.

From TV

Muric 9 - oh what could have been

Muric 10 He saved, he caught, he swept like a centre half, a complete performance and his distribution was exemplary, well done lad
Assignon 6 Harsh treatment by ref, playing ok till then
Vitinho 4 Big fan of this lad but not as a full back sorry
Esteve 7 Played well alongside O`Shea but needs to be more positionally aware
O Shea 8 extra point for the goal, gave everything well done
Berge 7 just quietly got on with it, nothing special just there when he needed to be
Odobert 6 Had a good game with the ball and worked hard tracking back, just didn`t seem to know where he should be
Bruun Larsson 7 Looked okay in his time on the pitch
Amdouni 4 Not for me, really doesn`t look interested, definiitely not up for the fight
Foster 7 Just back from injury but he ran, chased and had a presence up front, would really like to see him and Fofana together on Tuesday

Rodriguez 8 Looked like the old Jay Rod, we are going to need him at his best if we are going to survive
JBG 6 Worked hard and did a job in his short tome on the pitch
Taylor 8 Should have started and showed exactly why when he came on. Please note Vinny

Bellamy 9 Whatever he shouted from the line seemed to have the desired effect

Muric 9* MoM
Assignon 6 - Soft yellow but need better decision making from him in the penalty area
Vitinho 6

O’Shea 9
Cullen 9
Berge 8
Odobert 7
Bruun Larsen 7
Amdouni 4
Foster 5

Taylor 8
Brownhill 8
Rodriguez 8
Gudmundsson 7

Without checking all the records, I think that was Kompany’s first starting line up that has not included any players that were here before he was. Collectively, the four subs were immense in securing a point.

Surely not 8’s, 9’s and 10’s again for Muric?

He’s humiliating all the Trafford fans 😆

None of whom were brought to the club by Kompany. Those guys, along with the more solid performers that Kompany has signed like O'Shea, Cullen, and Berge show us the way that Burnley should do things. Fair-weather footballers like Tresor, Amdouni, and to a lesser extent Odobert might pull off the odd bit of skill once in ten games, but we just can't pick up points with them.

Burnley need grafters above everything else in this league. Let's hope the penny has dropped.

Some were complaining about ratings last match.

Sorry but if Muric's performance today is only 'very good' for you then, damn, I don't know what to tell you.

11 saves - 9 of which came from inside the box and nigh on 60 % accuracy on LONG PASSES against ten men, meaning we didn't have to deal with wave upon wave of attacks as the ball wasn't coming straight back to us all the time... Numerous high claims, swept up well.

It's a 10/10 performance. It just is.

We lose that game with most keepers in the PL playing - who can do them throws like that with a man stood on them?

I have just watched his highlights from the game and it was a 10 (IMO!)

Muric - 9 Clearly now the No 1
Assignon - 6 Not my favourite but he’s been done up like a kipper by an incompetent official
O’Shea - 8 Stuck at his task and scored a good goal
Esteve - 7 Probably his best game yet
Vitinho - 4 For me had a poor game
JBL - 7 Thought he did well
Cullen - 8 He’s back to being the Josh from last season. Great goal
Berge - 6 Thought he could have given more going forward and can be ponderous in possession
Odorbert - 7 Caused problems on the wing
Amdouni - 3 Sorry pal shouldn’t be given another chance. Woeful
Foster - 6 Good header and caused a nuisance

Taylor - 8 Why was he only on the bench
Brownhill - 6 Came on to bolster the midfield and pretty much did well
JBG - 5 Never got into the game
Jay Rod - 7 Held the ball up well but I think it was a gilt edged chance he should have buried

Best performance of the season for me and quite unfortunate not to be win the game playing 10 v 12. Darren England should be immediately removed from the Premier League. The penalty he gave today was up there with the clusterf**k he did in the Spurs v Liverpool game. He was also the one on VAR in the Forest game. He’s an absolute shocker

Muric 9 - excellent again
Assignon 6 - he is so rash the way he commits himself (this doesn’t refer the yellow cards which were a joke)
Vitinho 6 - needs to play further up
Esteve 8 - starting to adapt to English football and forming a good partnership with O’Shea
O Shea 9 - excellent, extra mark for the goal.
Cullen 9 - starting to show what I think we all expected from him this season - MOTM
Berge 8 - calm and composed performance
Odobert 7 - better today
Bruun Larsson 8 - decent game and some good defensive contributions
Amdouni 6 - I like Amdouni but we look better without him
Foster 6 - doesn’t look anything like fully fit at the moment

Rodriguez 8 - did really well, could have won us the game
JBG 7 - did fine
Taylor 8 - so glad we kept him, embodies the spirit of the Dyche era

None of whom were brought to the club by Kompany. Those guys, along with the more solid performers that Kompany has signed like O'Shea, Cullen, and Berge show us the way that Burnley should do things. Fair-weather footballers like Tresor, Amdouni, and to a lesser extent Odobert might pull off the odd bit of skill once in ten games, but we just can't pick up points with them.

Burnley need grafters above everything else in this league. Let's hope the penny has dropped.
Tresor & Amdouni i'll give you ....Odobert though is improving every game IMO.

Taylor - what a guy he is, how many times in the last two years has he been sacrificed for some ridiculous formation change or tactical b0llocks.

He comes on a man down, 0-1 down away at Chelsea and puts in a performance like that...

Badly at fault with the penalty, it was obvious that, smug, clever **** would try something like that.

*joking

Yes, taking penalties like that at his age is so 'un English' that's what we need, Pirlo esq.

Vitinho 3 - before I get stick for this I implore people to watch the game again from a neutral standpoint. Every single chance they created (and there was a lot) came from his mistakes.
That is just factually not true.
You are “imploring” us to watch the game again. Why don’t you watch the game again and let us know whether you still stand by all of Chelsea’s 30 plus chances came from Vitinho’s mistakes.
