Anthony Taylor
Worst refereeing performance iv seen ever in the Premierleague.
Countless yellow cards he’s just let go.
I’m all for letting the game flow but he’s lost control.
Rodri crunched Saka late first half didn’t even speak to him.
Rice pulled De Bruyne back, usually a yellow every time.
Jesus pulled an Arsenal player back at the start stopping a possible goal, usually a card every time.
Odegaard lucky not to be in the book.
Havertz done 4 fouls which is usually the amount needed for a booking.
Jorginho should have got booked.
AWFUL

Re: Anthony Taylor
If Darren England had been in charge of that it would have been 9 a-side after 20 minutes. I'd rather have a ref let there be a bit of contact personally

Re: Anthony Taylor
No issue with him letting the game flow and not have yellows. However, this needs to be applied across all matches. You don’t have to go back very far to see the polar opposite being applied. That’s the biggest problem, consistency, of which there is very little.

So you are saying that Darren England reffereed our game yesterday better than Taylor did at City today?

Re: Anthony Taylor
If Darren England reffed this match he would have needed to decide who he was supporting beforehand and been biased accordingly.

Re: Anthony Taylor
Taylor was **** awful. Countless times he let stuff go without a card. Jesus should have had 3 in the first half, but he lets him off with the first one- then the tone is set. First yellow was when Jesus only half -heartedly kicked the ball away when City won a free kick. Pathetic from Taylor, absolutely pathetic.
Re: Anthony Taylor
O shea booked at Anfield after about 5 mins for kicking the ball away, literally the first thing he did.
Yet we watch games involving the so called big teams and they get away with all sorts up to about 60 mins.
It really is a fkin joke.

Re: Anthony Taylor
It’s all about the product for the Premier League and for SKY, both want the game to be a spectacle around the world, they don’t want sending offs. It was clear today that Taylor had been instructed to referee in a softly, softly fashion to ensure 11 v 11. The issue is why certain games are refereed differently and is also why you won’t see idiots like Darren England on big games.
Re: Anthony Taylor
United game yesterday, United forward offside, whistle goes, United forward (can’t remember which one) still blasts his shot into the crowd, nothing. At the start of the season that’s a yellow card, that directive and the waving imaginary cards didn’t last long. There is absolutely no consistency amongst this arrogant bunch of clowns, what’s a yellow card / handball one day , the next it’s a different decision. Feels like they are making the rules up as they go.
Re: Anthony Taylor
Annoys me when they referee the 'big games' differently and the commentators say stuff like they have to let things go it's that important the game........ no every single game should be refereed to the same standard!!!!!!
