VK touchline ban
VK touchline ban
VK said he’d be on the touchline but Northwest tonight reporting he’s been given a one match ban
Re: VK touchline ban
Didn’t know it was a secret
Re: VK touchline ban
Why would he not be banned? I thought it was always a touchline ban
Re: VK touchline ban
He said in his presser yesterday he wouldn’t be banned for Wolves game.
Re: VK touchline ban
Possibly due to the Wolves game been so close to the red card it might not start till the Everton game. Wonder if it will be extended ban as 2nd time it has happened.

probably kicks in 7 days after the offence
Re: VK touchline ban
Just been charged with misconduct:
"It's alleged that the manager's language and/or behaviour around the 40th minute was improper and/or abusive and/or insulting towards a match official and/or questioned their integrity," an FA statement read.
Not sure what the impact of that might be.

Re: VK touchline ban
Well pretty much every pundit, journalist and commentator working in the media questioned the integrity of the decision and by implication the official who made it. Therefore he should be actually given merit marks for spotting it first!

Re: VK touchline ban
There are probably guidelines that prevent it, but surely the VAR officials saw the " free kick that wasn't " last night ! If VAR was brought in to prevent injustices and " clear and obvious errors ", then why couldn't it have been used last night ?

What incidents does the VAR check?
VAR will be used only for “clear and obvious errors” or “serious missed incidents” in four match-changing situations: goals; penalty decisions; direct red-card incidents; and mistaken identity.
What incidents does the VAR not check?
The VAR will not review incidents outside of the four match-changing situations: goals; penalty decisions; direct red-card incidents; and mistaken identity.
It will not review, for example, fouls or handballs in the middle of the pitch when there is no goal or penalty decision.
It will not review the decision to award a corner instead of a goal-kick, even if the corner produces a goal.
This is because the VAR will only check the attacking possession phase that led to the goal, and the starting point is limited to the immediate phase, in this instance the corner being taken.
VAR can only intervene once a goal is scored and only then review back to start of play leading to the goal

It’s a completely flawed system simple as that isn’t it, we have been on the wrong end of it a lot this season and next season will be another team that the premier league are bored of problem

Darren England the same ref from the weekend has let luiz for Villa get away without a second yellow for a worse foul on Foden than anything assignon did at the weekend.

Yes, it just shows up how the PL darlings are treated far better than the minnows. Luiz should have picked up a second yellow, however, Villa are amongst the PL favourites so nothing happened. Good to see that Foden scored from the free kick though and then completed his hat trick.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2024 9:22 pmDarren England the same ref from the weekend has let luiz for Villa get away without a second yellow for a worse foul on Foden than anything assignon did at the weekend.
