Unfortunately I'm now souring a little towards Kompany. The better Muric plays the harder it is to swallow that he's been missing all year. He's dictated our play the last few games and it's no coincidence that his return to the team has seen the improvement in form, along with Cullen's return.
You'd think he's learning lessons but then bang. Benson 85th minute.
I do agree
Cullen and Muric together have made a dramatic impact to our team.
Although I do think Muric is culpable for that goal today. Poor positioning.

Decent performance, but the result at least gives the usual suspects the chance to get stuck in!
Sadly true.

It's the context that's makes that makes that game a disappointment, not the performance.

He's not the only one responsible, you could argue poor defending as a whole for a set piece and also Dara for the free kick in the first place (even if there was no contact).

I thought we played well tonight but i couldn't understand why Kompany decided to have Fofana , Foster and Jay on at the same time for a while . No width .

Disappointed not to win but nice to see us finally being consistently competitive in this league, it may be too late but at least we aren't going down with a whimper as it looked like we might for long stages earlier in the year

Dreadful decision by the manager not to play him.
Material to our looming relegation.

Mixed emotions.
Another decent performance but obviously once again influenced by the inclusion of Muric- It's starting to feel like the decision to not play him all year is one of the main reasons we are going down- not crappy decisions (of which there have also been some). Goal came from a poor decision but second half Wolves looked like a punch drunk boxer- we didn't go for the kill and we had players on the bench we could have used.
The decision to still barely use Benson is absolutely baffling. I wonder if people are as confident about it after seeing what Muric and Cullen have done after being given a chance back into the fold.
Praise for improved performances, concern over baffling decisions still remains.

You’d have been happy with that performance and point if we’d had another 5-6 points on the board.
Performance wise, I thought we did well, a point probably about right.
It’s just a shame 1 point a game wont be enough

Played well, Saturdays massive. Don't forget there's still the possibility of another points deduction for Everton. It really is must win.

Benny should’ve been on earlier and he should’ve replaced Fofana, who was poor tonight, pushing Foster into the middle with Rodriguez.
We played well, though.

2 points dropped against the Wolves B team. Why we are so reluctant to shoot and instead opt for slow sideways passes on the edge of their box, I'll never understand.
Not a bad performance, but not a good enough one to win the game either. Poor decision again by the ref for the free kick on their goal, but defending the free kick was also very bad.

Results against us tonight.
We'll be back in the EPL 2025/26 season.
Really can't see a problem in that.

We had plenty of decent shots tonight where players pulled the trigger, Sa made numerous decent saves tonight

This is why GOOD coaches are worth their weight in gold. Marco Silva tonight made 3 sub changes on the 37 minute when it simply was not going well for Fulham. With us we might have possibly made one change after 50 minutes

He's got the most assists in the team this season.
There won’t be a stat for how often he has given it away on the halfway line and we are all haring back to cover for his mistake.
I like the guy defensively but his passing is third tier level. They are very straightforward passes he coughs up, far too often.

Strangely, he seems to struggle more with the simple passes.
His ball for Bruun Larsen’s goal was a beauty.

And turned defeat into victory, what a coach!!
I don't suppose he had anything to do with them letting in 3 1st half goals.

Think you badly miss my point. By the way Silva's team is 20 points ahead of us-I suspect the gap will be greater in May. Yes as you say, some coach.

I was hoping the Foster Fofana combination would batter them but they were both below par ,I'm not Amdouni's biggest fan but I'd have replaced Fofana with him his trickery and fast feet might have been the perfect foil for Foster.
Good performance dire ref strange substitutions and why only 4 minutes ?

Every club has VAR decisions go against them but the crucial decisions that have gone against us this season you just think what is the point.
We haven’t been good enough in large parts of the season but we have had at least 6 or 7 points taken from us by incompetent officials and with the financials released today those errors from officials could have massive financial implications to us and what do we get an apology from Howard Webb

JBL was stretching out his hamstring after a cross probs didn’t want to risk him but the benson sub should have been 15min earlier for fofana not foster

Foster was dead on his feet about 15 minutes before he was subbed. Fofana was still giving a lot more than him I thought.

Funny how different people see things. Personally I thought Fofana stank the place out tonight. A knackered Foster was still more useful than him.

We played well and I couldn't find a player who I wouldn't mark pretty well. However, I thought VK was slow to use his subs, especially as Foster faded early second half and became basically a passenger and (as someone said above) we had Jay come on alongside Fofana and Foster and 3 CFs is great in theory, but who's putting the crosses in?? It didn't work.

We just lost all our shape with 3 strikers on. Was crying out for some width to stretch them a bit.

Foster needs to play centrally. He's not creative or good enough at dribbling to play out wide.
I don't really understand some of Kompany's decisions. I think if we switched Odobert and Foster we would have been s lot stronger.

Correct we had only creativity in the right side, Vitinho tried but needed a winger with him

Absolutely shocking from VK to start Wilson in cm with Foster wide, instead of central. Then when he brought Jay on still didn't put Wilson wide left.
