Muric 7 - In real-time I thought he should have done better on the goal. Replays less so, but I'm trying to overcome any potential bias by downmarking him anyway. Even if I thought he made one fantastic save, two good emergency interceptions charging out like a madman, and that most of his passing was stunning.

Vitinho 6. Hit miss. He's the cleverest outfield player we have but his technical execution is so unreliable.
O'Shea 7. Good game all-round I thought.
Esteve-7. Solid game from Max Steve.
Taylor 5. Below par. Rate him normally but ineffective.
Cullen 6. Didn't really keep us as tidy and productive in possession as we need him to but not bad.
Berge- 7 MOTM. All action but sometimes his final ball let him down, sometimes his teammates let him down when he played it. Sometimes can't work out if he'd be better in a better team or stands out because he's not quite got the support.
Foster 4. Hate to rate him so low I love Lyle and he worked hard but he's not a wide player. Not his fault, on the manager for this.
Odobert 6. Not especially productive attacking, still iffy in possession, but by far his best team performance in terms of work rate and defensive help.
Brun Larsen -7. Plus 1 for the goal, very very loose in possession but he's got an excellent all round skillset. Prefer him on the right though.
Fofana- 5. Unpopular opinion but I actually thought he looked bright enough first 35 minutes, if sloppy in possession. After that was anonymous.

Muric 8- best sweeper keeper around, be great at 5-side.
Vitinho 7- thought he did pretty well last night and that one clearance in the 1st half where they were about to score.
Esteve 7- minus point for that attempt from the halfway liner - LOL
O'Shea 7- played well but has a wayward pass in him.
Taylor 6- what happened to his crosses last night.
Cullen 6- neat and tidy
Berge 8- MOM for me.
Bruun Larsen 7- great goal but should have scored another.
Odobert 6- please get him on the wing.
Foster 7- ran the channels well but looked knackered after 70 mins
Fofana 3- OMG- lost the ball so many times and that shot in the 2nd half that hit the corner flag- should have been pulled before 60mins

Rodriguez 6- could have scored that Benson cross shot but missed it.

VK- 5 - we really need some energy after 60 mins, didn't make the right changes and left it far to late again to bring on Benson- that game was there to win last night.

Thought we were the better side apart from a 20 min spell in the first half. We looked solid against a very good, well drilled side.

We only didn't win due to refereeing incompetence AGAIN

Muric 8- superb save, great passing, commands his box
Vitinho 7- his energy was superb
Esteve 8- Marked his man well and lost count of his interceptions, looks to be settling in.
O'Shea 7- solid, but prone to the odd error.
Taylor 7- Poor crossing but put in a real shift
Cullen 7 - We are so much better with him in the team
Berge 7- some good things, some not so good.
Bruun Larsen 7- Like him, he scores a lot for a winger
Odobert 7- Better out wide, remember how young he is
Foster 6- Still looks rusty
Fofana 4- Unfortunately he has these displays in him. Is he a 1 in 3 player? Wouldn't shell out any cash if we had any option on recent showings

Rodriguez 7- Did well, could have scored from the header.

Too little too late maybe, but we are looking a good unit at the moment.

From tv
Muric 8 mom for me, no chance with goal from seeing it countless times on replays
Vitinho 6 great energy and enthusiasm, he simply loses the ball too much and his centres were awful
O’Shea 6 I’m sorry but he is out of position too much and never closes down in the box. He has the basics but lacks technique
Esteve 7 steady away, will improve
Taylor 5 I like Charlie but he looked leggy last night and struggled in attack
JBL 7 good game and cracking goal, but does tire quickly
Cullen 7 he had an 8 rating in the first half and and 6 rating in the second
Berge 8 he really makes our forward play tick over. Over does his running sometimes
Odobert 6 only young and great potential but I don’t think knows what his role is in this set up
Fofana 4 dribbled when he should have passed, passed when he should have shot, did nothing right last night
Foster 6 needs more game time and understanding of his team mates
Jay rod 7 got into some good positions but his time is nearly up with us

I was frustrated and disappointed with the performance last night. We tried hard but it was all huff and puff, with the puff being powder puff. We passed and passed the ball around their box to no avail: the one first time centre we put in we scored a great goal. We still aren’t gelling as a team but our performances since Muric and Cullen came back in have improved massively.

I should have clarified a point from me, but reading it back I know what you mean.

I sometimes wonder what game some people watch. 6s for Berge? The guy covered every blade of grass last night in an immense performance.

Muric 8 - some brilliant distribution, a few iffy passes as well but for what he gives you that can be allowed for. A brilliant save from Ait-Nouri at 1-1 as well when our defence parted.

Vitinho 6 - full of effort and endeavour as usual, but part of the reason we drew the game was because of a lack of quality in the final third and Vitinho is probably one of the biggest culprits

O'Shea 7 - an outstanding assist, some good defending and some not so great defending, but to be honest he did well to hold it together given the man for man system we used. He has a very impressive goal contribution record (2 goals and 4 assists) for a centre half.

Esteve 7 - mostly a solid presence and probably a bit less raggedy than O'Shea but also had some hairy moments (very close to giving away a poor back pass to Muric near the end)

Taylor 6 - very nearly claimed a brilliant assist for a Foster half chance, but again the general lack of quality in the final third was never more evident than when Taylor was given the freedom of the left but couldn't find any sort of delivery

Cullen 8 - I thought he was very good and the way we controlled possession wouldn't have been possible with him on the bench

Berge 8 - it was good to see more aggression and intensity in his game, and his passing and press-resistance next to Cullen allowed us to control the game

Odobert 7 - again, it good to see more intensity and determination to his game, particularly working back defensively, and I thought he played the unfamiliar role well on the whole. Another who is guilty of a lack of quality though when it counted.

Foster 6 - worked his arse off but the experiment with him out on the right didn't work. He should have been moved centrally on the hour at the latest.

Fofana 4 - started off okay linking the play, but after that he was absolutely woeful. Cullen was giving him a mouthful at one point. I couldn't believe he lasted the 90 and I was even more stunned that he was moved to the left.

Bruun Larsen 7 - a brilliantly controlled volley, and gave us decent balance to our play, but unfortunately he's still not robust enough working back as evidenced when Semedo left him for dead after 10 minutes.

Rodriguez 6 - couldn't make much of an impact but gave us a presence

The biggest plus points were the levels of effort and intensity, which was in a different league to other performances we've seen this season, and the way in which we employed a very organised high press.

I struggle to reconcile last night's high pressing, man for man system (not dissimilar to Bielsa's Leeds side) though with the lethargic and passive mid-block system we've been using for last 3/4 months. It's hard to believe the same manager has presided over both setups.

Muric 7
Vitinho 8 - Another excellent performance, and most improved player from last season IMO
Esteve 7
Oshea 6
Taylor 6
Cullen 6
Berge 7
Odobert 7
Larsen 7
Foster 5
Fofana 5

Rodriguez 6
Benson 6 Probably to little time to accurately give a decision on

Muric 7 - Another good performance, distribution is frighteningly good, and made some decent saves, particularly the 1 on 1, but think he could have done better with the goal. Highlight was how he came out and cleared two through balls - convinced their forwards had second thoughts about challenging a 6'7" lad who's built like the proverbial brick shithouse
Vitinho 8 - the lads energy is beyond belief. I think he's getting better and better, but still lacks quality up top. Should have done much better with his shot in the 1st half
O’Shea 7 - had a real battle with their best player, No.3, and did well. Excellent assist.
Estève 6 - another one who's improving, but was too easily turned
Taylor 5 - Defensively alright but his delivery was abysmal
Foster 6 - stuck out on the right, not his natural position, but put a shift in without looking totally fit
Berge 8 - good game, lots of good things from him, just wish he'd get a shot away now and again
Cullen 7 - neat and tidy, rarely loses possession.
Bruun Larsen 7 - wish he'd been in the game a bit more, looked very comfortable and what a strike
Odobert 6 - more involved and still going at the end, another improving player
Fofana 3 - oh dear, I thought he was poor.
