No probably about it - no chance after tonight - it was a must win against wolves b team at home - huff and puff but no cigar.
But if you don't take opportunities like tonight you deserve to drop - that's the brutal rules of a top league.
This fixture at home with their injuries was the easiest of the next 5 by a country mile and yes I include sheff utd away - they battered us away last season.

Relying on other teams losing games is never sustainable especially with only 7 games left, our upturn form has come to late

I desperately hope you're right, however, i suspect we'll have been carted off to the
knackers yard long before the Forest game.

IF we win at Everton it puts massive pressure on those above us - anything other than a win and we are 100% done

I think we’ve left ourselves too much to do, but there is a scenario where we could be out of the bottom 3 within the next few weeks. Obviously hinges on us winning, Luton losing and Everton getting a points deduction, but it’s not entirely implausible.

personally think we have left it to late with only a handful of games left, if only Vincent would have changed gk earlier we might have had a chance but unfortunately we will never know...

This is the worst part of it to me.

It was so obvious to EVERYONE yet it took him 28 games to work it out. Absolutely baffling and I’d love to know his real

Agree with the OP, we’re done. Last night was ‘must win’ and we didn’t. It’s particularly heartbreaking because being unbeaten since Muric came back leaves us all wondering (knowing) what could’ve been.

Its encouraging to see a recent improvement in form. The debates whether we would be in a better position had Muric been brought back lets say before Christmas , will continue and I dare say get stronger as we near our last game. For me there has been quite a bit of freezing out, for whatever reason- Muric, Cullen, Roberts , Taylor at times. As humans we try and stay positive about our minute chance of survival, but not only would we need as many wins in our last 7 as we have achieved in 31 games, plus Forest or Everton would have to go through a disastrous end of season. Everton will feel if they beat us on Saturday that they will be largely safe, even allowing for another points reduction

Not impossible, but we probably need to win at least 2 of the next 3 games to give ourselves a chance.

If the financial side wasn't so serious I wouldn't really care about being out of this league. It's a joke.
