Two bad decisions

Post by Yorkshirelad » Wed Apr 03, 2024 1:56 pm

Over the last two games we have had two costly decisions against us. On both issues there was far less contact than then there is at a corner.

Once against no consistency

Frustrating .......i think the answer is X/reviews per manager/per half. The Refereeing standards are awful.

No contact
The Ref will see that and, shrug his shoulders & say, " Thank god l only did that against Burnley! It won't matter......"

VAR will concur.

I really like this idea.

No VAR, managers or captains holding a number of reviews per game, maybe one each half, that can be used to corner anything.

Its absolutely shocking how a foul was given. However watch their free kick over and over again, then tell me we have a set piece coach. The marking was non existent and they obviously did no research on the opposition namely Ant-Nouri who should have been known as a danger man from set pieces. VK's moaning about the free kick is understandable however it takes the focus off our poor marking which has been our trademark since kicking off in the PL last August

Tuesday's ref would have awarded fat boy a free kick for this.

The scary thing is the referee is in an excellent position with nobody blocking his view and at an angle that clearly shows him the gap between the two players, it's shocking he still gives a foul.
