No guarantees long term but even with a changeover of playing staff, there should enough in the squad to see us challenging at the top end of the table.

That makes it a value for money purchase as it stands.

Why would anyone not renew.
I've decided i can't justify the travel. Leaving work Friday straight to the airport, and not getting back until late on Sunday takes it out of you, especially when you end up with a few consecutive home game weekends.

Add to that the EFL TV slot often being Friday night, and us being likely to be on the box often, there's just too much in the "no" column for me.

If i was living in Burnley or Manchester area, i'd be a lot more likely, admittedly.

I've allowed mine to auto-renew :) (Despite the fact that Father Jack has used it at Turf Moor more than I have have).

Living just inside 'softie' country it costs a fortune to get to Turf Moor whilst many away days are within a cheaper drive radius.

In fairness you were a bit mad getting one in the first place living where you do :D

Those living a distance away or losing their income shouldn't have needed to be mentioned but I did say why wouldn't anyone so my mistake.

You shouldn't need to do anything.
Might be worth checking that for us Leisure. My direct debit has gone into the expired section on my bank now so it might be possible that we all have to fill in our bank details to start a new direct debit. I just thinking thats also possible because of the missed month? Just a thought

Aye, was a "fun" idea for a one off, but i intend to travel more widely this year instead.

So far, several Czech weekends plus Malaga / Torremolinos (A Malaga home and away game included), Bergamo, Edinburgh Fringe, As yet undecided trip in October, and Malaga again for just over 2 weeks at xmas / new year is looking a lot better for my general wellbeing

Renewed, because the price has gone down.

(due to the credits from using the Ticket Exchange which changes the value for money dynamic)

Malaga home games are good fun, been 4 or 5 times.

Very steep steps in parts of the ground we have been in but have never gone in the "English end"

Yes, of course.
I go for the day out, and to meet family and friends. If I enjoy the match, that's a bonus.
Who can honestly say they've enjoyed this season more than last?
I'm already looking forward to the kick-off in August.

That’s a great effort!

It’s also great to see so many infrequent posters on here renewing and looking forward to next season like me; the silent majority, I suspect.

Me and lad both renewed . Been on since he was 6 , he’ll be 17 next season .1st game 2-0 v Preston he’s been addicted ever since .

When he was 7 he came home from school and said kids were incredulously asking him “ why do you support Burnley and not Man Utd /Liverpool ? “ his reply ( even at 7) was “ because we’re a proper club that’s why “

Not renewing my ticket and the wife's due to club removing my seat for corporate although my wife's seat is unaffected. There offer is I can sit somewhere else in the ground but the offer does not include my wife. So much for 30 years loyal support. Just money grabbing Americans comes to mind.

Yep renewed. Why wouldn’t ya? Bring on the Championship- better league ( not corrupt), better chance of more wins, local derbies, AND, no VAR. 😉

Not according to Google. The EFL have shunned VAR even given the availability of VAR-lite as a cheaper option. I guess there’s time for that to change.

Up and until ALK’s takeover we’ve always felt part of a family club, unfortunately we don’t feel that anymore. We’ll continue to renew our s/t but somehow it’s just not the same.

Copied this from another thread. The poster says exactly how I feel. I will renew our season tickets, but I’ve ‘had it’ with our owners. How long before the crowd (we) turn on them?

So if I understand this correctly, your seat is being taken for corporate but your wife, who presumably sits next to you is unnaffected?

Can I ask what stand you sit in currently and which are is being made corporate? I can’t really work out where else there is to turn corporate?

Also, who have you spoken to at the club? And why won’t they allow you to move your wife as part of the same arrangement? It seems a completely unreasonable stance to take so trying to understand the circumstances better.

Not renewing ours in the longside hospitality next season , £4400.00 + vat for me and my son last year. Going up 10% from what we’ve heard the service we received last year on a few occasions was shocking , the food is fantastic but the bar service and beer is terrible, , loved the previous 3 seasons but all the staff seemed to have changed this year

We sit in the Jimmy mcIlroy lower on the back row,I went down on the 27th March the day I got my email to enquire about it and was offered anywhere in the ground for the same money for the first year or corporate seating in the Jimmy mcllroy or I didn't need to renew When I mentioned my wife seat which is next to me no offer was forthcoming from the lad at the desk

Should have said being upgraded for hospitality seating

I asked about auto renewal when I was in the ticket office because we have to be informed because of the increase in price. I was told an email would be going out next (now this) week with the details. And it will still be payable over twelve months.
Why is everything so protracted?

This will be my 51st season ticket so of course I am renewing .
My wife and grown up are also renewing

FYI, I went on my account last night to renew my dad’s ticket - he pays up front. I pay by DD and my ticket was showing up as able to renew. When I went back on today to check, it’s no longer possible to renew but when I go onto purchase history it shows the season ticket as purchased so seemingly has been automatically renewed.
