far to early to tell - but the management team recruitment appears to be targeting the type and quality of people they need

I think if they let Ashworth lead, it could work out ok, but i'm unsure if they wont give in to their urge to interfereChester Perry wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 2:58 pmfar to early to tell - but the management team recruitment appears to be targeting the type and quality of people they need

They are banning staff corporate credit cards, company cars and chauffeurs.

that could be an issue, but they have recruited at higher levels than Ashworth too, so far it appears a sound plan, we will have to wait to see how it is executedŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 3:03 pmI think if they let Ashworth lead, it could work out ok, but i'm unsure if they wont give in to their urge to interfere

I just hope they continue to be a sh**show for the self-promoted biggest club in the world.
A few weeks back, one of my fellow Clarets - I forget who - said they couldn't think of any signings who had improved there since Ferguson left. I've given it some thought and it's a pretty big challenge to think of candidates.

Spot on Manure have spent a fortune to try to get back to the Fergie days. They had a golden age of young talent coming through together but now they try to recreate that with astronomical spending on media hyped players.
They are destined to be also rans to City, Arsenal and Liverpool
