Re: Cole Palmer
What a goal he’s just scored, City made a mistake letting him go.
Just as I’m typing he gets a second.

Re: Cole Palmer
Southgate will obviously take him. I can’t ever recall someone in such form being left out of one of his major tournament squads.
Re: Cole Palmer
Have of effort from us against against Everton and we could have turned them over. They are shocking.
Re: Cole Palmer
How embarrassing that this Everton have taken 6 pts off us, dumped us out the cup, had 8 PTS deducted and are still out of sight

England’s number 1 making a mistake leading to a goal, Trafford never made a mistake leading to a goal for England, get him in

Are you Muric in disguise…….(to Pratford)
What a hat trick though.
(sigh) what might have been……our own silly fault for courting Lukebakio and Bakayoko first, because I reckon City would have signed off the loan way before Chelsea came sniffing.

Know it would never have happened, but can’t help looking back to the “links” we had to him at the start of the season and thinking “what if”

Re: Cole Palmer
It'd be good for Chelsea to get 7, 777 pull out and Everon go into administration. 10 point deduction puts them on 17.

Re: Cole Palmer
I can believe it. He’s hyperactive and talks a lot, but I wouldn’t say he’s particularly dislikable - at least not to me. Seems to come across like a decent bloke. There are many players in the Premier League who I’d rather see get a slap.

Re: Cole Palmer
Big naivety unfortunately, the financial payoff from a loan deal was already established, with last seasons loans getting us the £100m bonanza. It isn’t just about buying players and selling them. But I reckon they went for permanents instead and have paid the price, with Palmer only a Plan C. Palmer was easier to get over the line if we did it early and would have kept us up.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 8:34 pmI was under the impression that he was on his way to us but Chelsea got him and let us have Fofana

I still remember when some people thought we shouldn't try to loan him because he's too lightweight for PL.

Dyche
Everton’s owner Moshiri rarely goes to games, he’s not been to one since February. He’s there tonight and the rumours around Everton fans is he’s going to sack Dyche after the game.
Deserves it too they are awful, how have we lost twice against this shower of sh1t ?

In all seriousness do England have the two most in form players in the premier league this season?

Re: Cole Palmer
As gutting as it is for us to hear we were close to getting him on loan for a season, just imagine how bad it is for City fans imagining Palmer / Foden being their future.
Huge error from Pep.
Huge error from Pep.
Re: Cole Palmer
Unfortunately, they’ve plenty of games against sides as bad, if not worse, than they are. Forest, Brentford, Sheff United all at home and a trip to Luton too. They’ll pick up enough not to worry about us (or Luton) catching them.
We really, really shouldn’t be going down, this season.

England should build their team around Palmer, and Foden, and Grealish, oh, and Kane, and Madison, and Bellingham.

Me too. I quite like him. Doesn’t seem wired quite right but one you’d love on your team. Think his hyperactivity and general loudness just makes him a target for opponents.
