Incredible how our support level has risen. Imagine if we'd had a positive season. Demand would have been there for 20k season tickets.

Fair play to the fans if it's correct.

I don't know anyone who has not renewed. In the grand scheme of things in not really expensive for what you get out of it. 23 days/half days out. Might even win a few

That’s an absolutely fantastic effort.
Well done clarets and it’ll be interesting to see how many of the waiting list now buy tickets.
Was it 16,000 or 16,500 we sold this year?

Re: 15,000 renewals on season tickets!
Not sure it is quite that high tbh. We know we have to allow a percentage for walk ons, (think it is 10% but may be a few percent each way) added in the 2'200 away seats and think around between 15-16k is our limit for ST sales.
In any event, after this season, those are remarkable sales. Like many I expect we are all hoping for a magical repeat of last season.

Re: 15,000 renewals on season tickets!
To say how bad this season has been at home, the fans have stuck with them and not turned on the team or manager too badly. Reflecting on that, it is not that surprising. We have a large group who go on, not aware of anyone not renewing - many of us wanted the season to finish early though!
Re: 15,000 renewals on season tickets!
If I've read the announcement post right that's 15000 early bird renewals, not total season tickets, so theres still more to add to that. Anyone know how this compares to last season? Its a great effort after what's been a terrible season on the pitch. We've renewed ours and looking forward to bext season.
Re: 15,000 renewals on season tickets!
It must be very close to this season, as we can only sell around 16/17000, with having 2250 for away fans and having to leave a similar number for 'walk ons'.BigJay wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 7:47 amIf I've read the announcement post right that's 15000 early bird renewals, not total season tickets, so theres still more to add to that. A really great point and I think encapsulates Burnley fans more than any hysteria on here from the usual suspects when we dare to lose a game.alboclaret wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 10:30 pmI don't know anyone who has not renewed. You go on, you hope we win, historically that’s not a great % but we’re used to it and we just get on with life if we don’t

Re: 15,000 renewals on season tickets!
I’ve just found a post from Burnley saying that we’d sold 15,000 in the week before the early bird closed last year, so we’re broadly in line with last years sales which is brilliant given we were pretty much guaranteed to be going up and now pretty much guaranteed to be going down!
We then sold the maximum after the early bird closed but I can’t find the exact number - whether it was 16,000 or 16,500. You’d have to imagine we’ll get there or thereabouts again given there was a waiting list.

Re: 15,000 renewals on season tickets!
Am I amazed? Probably not - this season has literally felt like a “one off’…bizarre in many ways but the crowd have generally remained with the lads on the pitch. As they say, next season, “we go again”.

It's a great effort, and good to see that so many are renewing. Reading this forum, you'd think we'd be lucky to get more than 12k renewing. Then again, some of the biggest whingers on here don't go anywhere near.alboclaret wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 10:30 pmI don't know anyone who has not renewed. What’s also quite funny is how few posts the positive news threads get. Don’t hear from any of the ones that were professing the stadium would be empty next year, etcClovius Boofus wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 10:24 amIt's a great effort, and good to see that so many are renewing. Yeh reading a few posts by the doom mongers on here when they announced the prices I was expecting our gates next season to be par with Rovers.

Fantastic support now we need VK backing with a new box finisher and cm ball winner to supplement our promotion push.

Whatever issues we have this season, I don’t know anyone not excited for the next one. I just want this over and done with and to have that same butterfly in the stomach feeling I did when turning up at Huddersfield on the 29th July in 2022.

Great support again.
Most of the other clubs of a similar size can only dream of this level of support.

That seems an extremely high number in a short space of time for a team about to be relegated
Wonderful support by the fans if correct

Re: 15,000 renewals on season tickets!
Didnt we sell nearer 18 thousand last year in total, leaving a % for walk ons etc. Whatever the final total will be, its great to see so many still want to attend matches……..and why would you not, its going to be great next season

No, max is either 16k or 16.5k. When allowing for hospitality, away fans and walk in requirement. Can’t remember which but I remember being surprised the max was so low last year.Eloise Laws wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 12:22 pmDidnt we sell nearer 18 thousand last year in total, leaving a % for walk ons etc. Whatever the final total will be, its great to see so many still want to attend matches……..and why would you not, its going to be great next season

Re: 15,000 renewals on season tickets!
This is great news. However I imagine a majority pay by direct debit which has therefore “auto-renewed”. If someone is going to cancel their direct debit they are not going to do so before the last game of this season presumably. I hope there won’t be loads of such cancellations after the last game but we’d expect some wouldn’t we ?

Someone tried to tell me VAR os on the Championship next season ... Told him it was an April Fool but he is convinced the Champ has VAR ... asked him when he saw it and he showed me a whats app message ... dated APRIL 1STclitheroeclaret3 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 2:54 pmBrilliant stuff, looking forward to a VARless, more successful and entertaining season
