Re: Tonights Football
I'm on the fence regarding Merseyside derby. Liverpool are my second team, love to see them win PL I'm a huge fan of Dyche and Tarky so this is a difficult game for me. A draw wouldn't be good for Liverpool, a point would be good for Everton but they're more or less safe anyway.

Lose this and ETH will be gone tomorrow surely. Typical of our luck this season. They’ll be a different team no doubt come Saturday.

We have a good chance of getting something against Man U on Saturday.

Re: Tonights Football
Didn’t like this game. I thought they’d beat Sheffield United easily which would get them back into some sort of form but if they lose then it might work against us on Saturday. I think the manager will see the season out though.PremierLeagueClass wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 9:16 pmLose this and ETH will be gone tomorrow surely. Typical of our luck this season. Not sure why Klopp is smiling when Everton score. No doubt he’ll find something to moan about afterwards.

The Mags are also down vs a very mediocre side in Crystal Palace. Bad news Callum Wilson back and on as a sub. He always seems to score against us.

Would like to congratulate Dyche, Tarky and Dwight. Happy to now we couldn’t catch them anyways.
Clippetty Klopp has never lost a Mersey derby at Goodison, Dyche has never had one at home. Go figure. We know Sean likes a derby.

Re: Tonights Football
This United side don’t half give us hope, Newcastle too. United will have had 2.5 days rest when they play us, and we are going to fly at them. We played well at Arsenal, and at Chelsea. Very conceivable we could do the same against United(s) and Spurs.

Is it me, or is that pitch very slow at Goodison ?

Re: Tonights Football
It's kinda ironic that Dyche is the one to win the Klopp's last ever Merseyside derby - bloodied Klopp's nose the first time back in 2016 with that 2-0 home win against Liverpool in 2016 and we did it again a few times, upsetting Klipperty each and every time.

First Derby win for Everton at Goodison for 14 years. Congratulations Sean Dyche, great work. Clean sheet as well.

No doubt the Everton fans will love Dyche for a bit after this, they wanted him hung, drawn and quartered the other day.

Reality is Everton have 4 or 5 big players the other sides at the bottom do not have. The ending to the season for them was inevitable.

What a guy Tarks is, proper player and bloke, went round all the backroom staff and they clearly love him...we were so lucky him and Mee graced the Turf

No surprise to see Dyches team turning up at a crucial time.
Still amazed by certain posters saying how bad a team they are after they beat us, what nonsense. Their work rate is absolutely fantastic.
I think they'd have gone down under most managers this season.

Yes he Ben Mee and Pope were superb for us. Abd SD could organize a defence. Just to round off the results, Chorley beat Curzon Ashton in a penalty shootout in the National League North eliminator and now have to travel down to Brackley for the semi final.
Ex league clubs Scunny & Boston play in the other semi.

Not many better CH pairings than Tarks & Braithwaite. Not sure what that muppet Southgate saw in playing Maguire instead of giving Braithwaite time in what was a friendly.Maguire is not going to get better but Braithwait is
