Biggest flop of the season
We have had the best of so now time to name your flops.
Dele Ali has has had a very poor season by his standards.
Mahrez 50m move to City hasn't worked out and will be remembered for his penalty miss at Anfield. They would of already won the league if he scored it.
De Gea has had a poor season. Abysmal recently.

Alexis Sanchez, I only think he's scored 1 or 2 and played for maybe half the games, on mega mega bucks too.Quickenthetempo wrote:We have had the best of so now time to name your flops.

West Ham
Huge changes, huge expenditure, minor improvements.
The circumstances surrounding their stadium deal are an ongoing disgrace.
Karren Brady, the poster child of cronyism, continued to embarass herself and by association the club.
The transfer of Wilshere could be classed as a separate flop, but I will add it to the mix.

Sanchez and Fred are good shouts. The return by Sanchez for the outlay is v poor. I’m convinced Fred wouldn’t have cost as much if he wasn’t just called ‘Fred’. He sounds like he should be better than he is imo. A bit like ‘Jo’.

Re: Biggest flop of the season
Sanchez is the biggest flop of the season.
Over paid and on this season massively over rated.
Utd are possibly going to have to fund his wages to get rid at a cost of approx £13million...

Danny Drinkwater. Over 100k week and made no league appearances. Crashed, done for drink driving and told he has no future at the club.

Agree with the 3 Manure picks,i'm not sure you can label Higuain a flop,he only arrived in January and has 5 goals in 13 games, that's hardly Fernando Torres stats.claptrappers_union wrote:Fred, Sanchez, Higuien... maybe Pogba too, to some extent.

As of last week he had created the 2nd most chances in the premier league from full backs. Behind Digne.

Re: Biggest flop of the season
Think West Ham have had a reasonable season and certainly significantly better than last season. Pretty harsh to say they’ve been the biggest flop of the season - they were just standard West Ham away to us and Cardiff, both results which had a big impact on our season at the time.
Sanchez is probably the best shout. Solskjaer has an argument for being the best thing this season pre his permanent appointment, and then the biggest flop since his appointment.
Some fair shouts in the thread and some not so much. Harsh to call Pogba a flop, for example, he’s just been inconsistent.

Whereas is this info from? The commentators the other night said Robertson needs just 1 more assist to beat the all time record for most assists in the Premier League by a full bacm. Then said Trent was just one behind him, and was the 2nd highest assist maker in the leagueQuickenthetempo wrote:He certainly helped in the comeback tonight with some great balls in.

All of Fulhams signings
Showed everybody (well, those that think real football is like football manager) that its very, very hard to recruit well, even with lots of money

Very surprising to see so many overseas signings being mentioned.
I had been convinced everyone abroad was cheap and a success.

I’m gonna go for players you’d expect to start/play and that should make an impact rather than say players at Cardiff etc
Lukaku - What even is he? He’s ridiculously crap is laughable
Sanchez - See above
Terraria or whatever he’s called - Don’t get what he does. He’s there to stop the opposition and make tackes but does neither.
Jorginho - See above.

If Spurs win the CL, Liverpool win the PL, Watford win the FA Cup and Chelsea win the Europa League then it would be a straight toss up between, Pep and Man City and Arsenal for biggest flop, how funny would that be?!?

You can only create chances like the ball he put in before the 2nd goal, where Lorente I think missed from two yards.Cleveleys_claret wrote:Whereas is this info from? Obviously the Liverpool forwards are more clinical.
Re: Biggest flop of the season
Fred, Anguissa the obvious money for nothing players.
Sanchez, Ozil in terms of salary
If we’re following on from last season, Aubameyang and Lacazette haven’t at all justified the price tag. Mendy also.
Special mention to Jorginho.
