Possibly the worst half of football I've witnessed in a very long time, and think back to some of the Burnley games in the last few years....
It's a guaranteed place filled in next years bottom 3 if either if these come up...

1-0 Leeds, good advantage by the ref, great ball in and decent finish.

Re: Derby v Leeds
Changed on assistant’s call but looks a wrong one.
Once again the assistant is Eddie Smart. He missed the offside and ball going out of play for Man City’s second against us and he missed the offside at Cardiff recently when Chelsea scored.

It’s a pen if it’s not a foul the other way. And it’s not a foul the other way.taio wrote:Didn't look a penalty to me.

Just be really hard work being a Derby (sorry, Frank Lampards Derby) fan, these days.
They're really giving the 'Chokers' tag a whole new meaning.

From what I've seen I disagree. But need to see again. Not enough in it for me - would have been soft one.ClaretTony wrote:It’s a pen if it’s not a foul the other way. And it’s not a foul the other way.

Re: Derby v Leeds
Ive watched the replay a few times and I cant see where the foul is meant to be on the Derby player. Commentators focusing on the linesman overturning it due to a foul on the Leeds player which doesnt look like a foul but likewise how did the Leeds player foul the Derby lad?
Re: Derby v Leeds
Linesman didn't interpret what really happened, defo not a free kick to Leeds at the very least.

The pen had been given is what I was trying to say, no matter how soft. But the assistant has got it horribly wrong.

Re: Derby v Leeds
Yep I think the ref got it wrong followed by the linesman getting wrong but ultimately no penalty was the right decision. Think it come off the Leeds player so prob should have been a corner to DerbyClaretTony wrote:The pen had been given is what I was trying to say, no matter how soft. I’ve only been half watching it, but this last 15 or 20 minutes, Pawson and his lino seem to have completely lost the plot.

Totally agree that it should have been a corner. The pen decision was on a par with the one Man U got against us.

I thought you meant in relation to the penalty shout. That was the key decision and correctly ruled out. Unfortunately.ClaretTony wrote:He gave a free kick to Leeds and it clearly wasn’t. That’s getting it horribly wrong.
