Cats Whiskers/The Hop Reunion 2019

Post by karatekid » Tue May 14, 2019 3:09 pm

£10 a ticket on Friday June 28th at Mr. Greens on Bull St. Burnley.

I quite fancy a night out on the pull. I'll have to cancel the dominoes game that night though. ;)

Mr Greens seems to be tapping into the reunion market. Apparently there was a Sidewalk 53 one there over Easter.

Edit - Might've been at Vogue/Mode actually, needless to say, I didn't go

Shows how poor a night out Burnley has become when they have to resort to these reunion nights to pull a crowd.

Give us a shout when there's a Circ/Rose Room/Angels

Is this a wind up ? Cats shut about 88? Didn’t it I’d imagine half that crowd are long dead . Great days though Ritzy was good fun too

Quite a lot of people thankfully do live beyond the age of 50 these days. We may even still have a night out or two left in us. ;)

Used to go to the Cats over 16 nights on Tuesday(?) and Sundays. Bouncers on the bar area used to let us 14 years olds in if yuo bought them a pint.

Aye, I heard about that one a couple of weeks ago but I’m sure I remember something about a specific Sidewalk one on Good Friday, think it was at Mr Greens or Vogue. Probably wasn’t 2000 at that though.

Probably over 50s have more money to spend and behave better, or not ;)

Definitely not when we were around!

On the odd occasion we would be allowed up the balcony steps to the Rose Room late on Sunday night.
