Improve in what way?
Probably not for about 80% of things, but there will be no doubt he could improve something somewhere.
No manager is complete and has no room for improvement.

improve in not understanding a word the manager says ? yes
more attractive football ? yes
would we lose more games ? yes
would we get relegated ? yes
Would I swap Dyche for Bielsa - No chance (and I'm one of our biggest critics when it comes to style of our play)

Re: just a teaser for interest simple YES, NO or SAME
Sorry; can't do a yes/no/same.
Hard to say. A manager and his way of working is also influenced by how he's managed. Would Bielsa buy in to Burnley's way of doing things? Would he commit to staying for a very long time (if it's successful)?
Bielsa is a very well-respected manager internationally. There's no shame in those who say, "yes". Dyche has done a brilliant job unexpectedly, so no shame in saying, "no".

Unless the players here got exposed for not being technical enough to play how Leeds do?

Re: just a teaser for interest simple YES, NO or SAME
A manager has to understand the culture of a football club. I don't think personalities like Bielsa, Jose, Pep, Klopp, Wenger, Benitez, Ranieri wouldn't 'get it'. They've been at big clubs all their careers. They'll spit their dummies out.
I was watching the pre-match stuff with Beilsa being interviewed via an interpreter, looking down at his feet and not engaging with the interviewer at all... we are a community club - can you imagine him being the figure head of Burnley Football Club?
Clubs like Burnley, especially with this board, will benefit from managers who you have played, managed or coached at both higher and lower league levels to appreciate what the club is about. If we were to appoint a manager from Europe, like Southampton and Watford did, they'd have to changes at the very, very top.

Interesting as I really feel if this guy at Leeds was younger he would be the next Premiership Marco Silva rapid rise to fame even though SD considered "unfashionable" might never get the next level up. Some things are now to people fashionable or not !!!!!! Eddie Howe gets a free ride, why ? because of the size of Bournemouth and the ground capacity but are managers never judged on their squads wage bill ?

In the regular season Leeds scored 73 and conceded 50, Bielsa can't set up a defence and if you can't defend in the PL you get relegatedQuickenthetempo wrote:We lost 20 this season, I wouldn't put money on a new manager losing any more games than that.

No. (And one big reason is I'm sure SD has had other offers over the years from other, potentially bigger clubs, but has always stayed loyal. I'm not sure you could get that from anybody else, including this Biesla guy! It's worth a hell of a lot!!)

Bielsa is the finished article. There is no further room for improvement.
Dyche is still evolving. He's an unpolished diamond.
In answer to your question......No

Re: just a teaser for interest simple YES, NO or SAME
I don't really understand the view that Dyche is the only guy in the world capable of managing us. Bielsa has managed the likes of Argentina and Chile, working with the likes of Batistuta and Zanetti in their prime, yet he is dismissed as some kind of numpty by people on here.
Re: just a teaser for interest simple YES, NO or SAME
Both West Brom and Stoke had the same view about Pulis....jrgbfc wrote:I don't really understand the view that Dyche is the only guy in the world capable of managing us.

Re: just a teaser for interest simple YES, NO or SAME
Cannot understand why people have a problem with Bielsa not being confident about speaking English to journalists. Not exactly new is it. We’ve had a South American going a full season with an interpreter before, or have we all forgotten ‘our Maurice’. Pochettino is doing ok now don’t you think?

Re: just a teaser for interest simple YES, NO or SAME
Bit of an unreasonable proposition because it's quite likely that Dyche's players would struggle playing a more expansive game under Bielsa (or many other 'more progressive' managers) and go down first season. so NO. But if Bielsa stuck around and got backing for players his record and pedigree shows he'd get promoted and achieve more than Dyche. So YES.
Leeds' team is not amongst the best in the Championship, it's dead average. They had a tonne of injuries and kids making up the numbers every game for months. If he stays and gets to strengthen the squad I can see them steamrolling it next season. With a bit more backing they'd be doing a Wolves.
