Re: Heaton in England Squad
That is good news - a proper rest and recuperation and hopefully a strong pre season - (before he goes to Athletico Madrid allegedly ) - he didn't have that last year and it showed early doorsVegas Claret wrote:Tarks misses out
Also could mean Tom starts pre -season late opening the door for Pope to start

Re: Heaton in England Squad
Assuming England play the possession game it’s logical for Tarkowski to miss out and Heaton not to start. Both have distribution issues.

Re: Heaton in England Squad
Then again Pickford has 3 times more errors leading to goals massively less catches and fewer “ high takes “ than TH last 100 ish match stats . TH is actually an excellent distributor with throws rolls etc etc though for a team as negative as we are he’s almost always part restrained or SD insisting balls from handsSGr wrote:Assuming England play the possession game it’s logical for Tarkowski to miss out and Heaton not to start. Said it several times.
Dont mind saying it again, Pickford is an OK keeper.
Tom is simply better.

I know we all think Tom is better - but what do fans of other clubs think? I do not now the answer myself but i wonder if you asked fans of Liverpool, Arsenal etc - what would they say?

fans of other clubs would prefer Heaton... as he's let more of them score when playing usedison wrote:I know we all think Tom is better - but what do fans of other clubs think? I do not now the answer myself but i wonder if you asked fans of Liverpool, Arsenal etc - what would they say?
In all seriousness though, Heaton has been fantastic for us but I said on here at the time of the World Cup - Pickford is marginally the better all round keeper.

Most of them would say “Tom who?” because they are pricks.edison wrote:I know we all think Tom is better - but what do fans of other clubs think? I do not now the answer myself but i wonder if you asked fans of Liverpool, Arsenal etc - what would they say?

Heaton in England Squad.
I'm sure Stan's looking at the headline with some satisfaction. All those worldie's for the Lane Ends finally recognised.
