Have a lovely Summer folks
See you all in August for another fun-filled Season of drama on the Turf Moor Stage.
With all the Politics, TV (Reality and Drama), and other non-Clarets Shoite on here at present, I'm outta here for the summer.
I hope you manage to sort out your Political, Sexual, and TV Channel opinions before August because they have made this Board almost unbearable! (Unbelievable Jeff!)
Perhaps the Mods could create new sections for "Politics"; "Religion"; "Sexual Orientation"; "Who's jizzed on whom this time"; "Other non-Clarets matters". I hope so and, before the far left, far right, and those in the middle, gang up on me, it's just my opinion
I understand that my presence will be a sad loss to you all.
Now, where did I put my Wisden??

Re: Have a lovely Summer folks
See you later mate. I completely understand your reasons, the politics threads have got really awful particularly. The summer will only get worse once the usual transfer whinging threads start.
Re: Have a lovely Summer folks
Yes, it's a shame when you come on this message board, see the thread topic titles that are obviously not football related and then are forced to open up said threads and then read the discussion.
Just how on earth is there a way around this dilemma?

Re: Have a lovely Summer folks
Personally I wouldn't mind reading through politics threads but they are an open sewer of nastiness at the moment. Mostly from the 'right' leaning people (with plenty of decent-poster exceptions of course) but not insignificantly some on my 'side' are dropping down to that level.
I think I've probably decided to stay off the politics threads for now. I'm not leaving the board though. I stay for the quite excellent Football Magic Money Tree thread and I'm also trying to drum up support on the Xpert11 thread.
