West Brom want Chris Wilder
It might sound ridiculous that a Championship club think they can get a manager who supports the team he's just got promoted to the Premier League but there seems to be a lot of speculation that he wants out because of the problems between the two co-owners.

Re: West Brom want Chris Wilder
Or realised that he’s likely to be relegated and would rather try for another promotion on his CV?

Re: West Brom want Chris Wilder
There are real problems at Sheff U because of the two joint owners sueing each other and it is affecting their squad building. I don't think he'll go but it must be a right mess there for a Championship club to even think they could get him.TheFamilyCat wrote:Or realised that he’s likely to be relegated and would rather try for another promotion on his CV?
Re: West Brom want Chris Wilder
Or the situation is bad at Sheff United like has been reported, I'm not sure why you would try look deeper and make up conspiracy theories. I'm pretty sure the two co-owners are fighting it out in court over ownership which will significantly hinder their transfer window.TheFamilyCat wrote:Or realised that he’s likely to be relegated and would rather try for another promotion on his CV?

That’s twice recently you’ve inaccurately accused people of making up conspiracy theories. You really need to look up a definition.KRBFC wrote:Or the situation is bad at Sheff United like has been reported, I'm not sure why you would try look deeper and make up conspiracy theories. Re: West Brom want Chris Wilder
Maybe there are players at Sheffield Utd who aren't happy with the situation there and want to jump ship
Do they have any players that we could be interested in?
The only player I know is Billy Sharp and he must surely be in his 30's and he too is I believe a Sheffield Utd fan

I think they wanted him if Sheff United didn't go up, but the story is still lingering.

Sounds like 1 relegation place sorted which is good. So that's the blades and BHA. Just 1 more. Maybe Norwich?

I don't know about you, but I like to know about other clubs as well as my own, and a rival next season too, why wouldn't you be bothered about their affairs?Bosscat wrote:Tbf why do we care ?????

I said "do we care..."
I didn't say "We don't want to know whats happening at other clubs..."
So the only way I would care was if it involved US

Re relegation its between Saints Brighton Bournemouth Sheff Utd Norwich and Villa
Despite the hype Villa are not that good.

Re: West Brom want Chris Wilder
Are West Brom a safer bet for him? They potted their last manager when they were fourth in the league.

Re: West Brom want Chris Wilder
The power struggle at Sheff Utd appears to have given WBA a sense of hope.
Wilder is a canny manager and I’m sure he’ll be using the situation to his advantage, in ensuring a better outcome for his own terms and transfer kitty for the coming season. I would be absolutely astonished if he threw in the towel at the club he loves. And there would be riots in Sheffield if they let it happen.

Any unrest at Sheffield United should increase the odds of Che going back there.

I know what WBA do want!
