Former Charlton defender Patrick Bauer is wanted by Blackburn Rovers following his departure from the Valley.

The 26-year-old announced his was leaving newly promoted Charlton when his contract expires this month and Rovers boss Tony Mowbray is in the market for defenders.

Preston North End and Rangers are also interested in the former Stuttgart man.

Today at 10:03

Preston have completed their first signing of the summer by signing German defender Patrick Bauer.

It's barely watchable these days.

They even have rumours on the yellow bar Breaking news section.

I remember the constant tool Jim White and his breaking news on Petr Cech

" It is my understanding through my sources that Petr Cech will retire at the end of this season " ... his next sentence was "In a statement released on his website Cech has stated he will retire at the end of the season"

I used to watch SSN all day, basically as background noise while I was at work. Now its just rolling advertisements for Sky Sports channels and they have an obsession with twitter... no-one cares what twitter thinks! Theres only Gillette Soccer Saturday that I watch now.

Definitely what I used to do. I struggle to find background tv nowadays ha
