50/0 from first 10 overs - that’s just what we wanted.

Lyon coming on now.

Strong start again from these two.

Tame the Lyon and England will ease home.

Nicked from TMS text commentary some stat though.

This is the 32nd time Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy have opened the batting together and it is the 18th time they have reached 50. They have 10 hundred partnerships amongst those and their average opening stand is 69. That is comfortable the best of their 113 pairs who have batted together 15 or more times in ODI cricket.

Shows what a miss Jason Roy was in the matches he missed. They bat so well together, perfect opening partnership.

Every single run is being greeted with a huge roar from the crowd.

Bairstow injured, gone over on his ankle but physical treating him higher up the leg shall we say.

This could take all the momentum out of our reply, whether Bairstow carries or retires hurt and Root has to make a fresh start. It's a shame and it's worrying.

Bairstow looking like the injury means he's decided it's all or nothing which could lead to him chucking his wicket needlessly away.

Wouldn’t say it is needless if he is injured. Not much choice tbh.

He may as well smash 10 runsand go out than retire if he can’t run though right? Is retiring effectively giving your wicket away?

He could retire hurt for a wicket or two. Let Joe Root get after them.
