Cricket World Cup Final on Channel 4
Just been announced that it will be shown on Channel 4 as well as Sky.
Re: Cricket World Cup Final on Channel 4
Great news. Will be interesting to see the viewing figures, even if it pulls in massive numbers the ECB will never admit they made a massive error in completely selling the game to SKY.
Re: Cricket World Cup Final on Channel 4
It's on Channel 4 until 1.15pm on Sunday, then they'll switch to the British Grand Prix with the cricket going to More 4, before returning to the cricket after the race.

Re: Cricket World Cup Final on Channel 4
Every game has been shown live on Willow TV ( Indian Channel) in America. Sadly I will miss the game on Sunday but should be home in time for the highlights

Good to see FTA TV making a dogs dinner of it as per. Sky coverage all the way for me.
Re: Cricket World Cup Final on Channel 4
Think SKY are just allowing channel 4 to show their coverage, so it will just be the same pundits, commentators etc.Papabendi wrote:Good to see FTA TV making a dogs dinner of it as per. Sky coverage all the way for me.
Re: Cricket World Cup Final on Channel 4
Yes. What I mean is I won’t be bothering with this changing channels nonsense
Re: Cricket World Cup Final on Channel 4
Channel 4 did this regularly back in the day and it used to do my nut in. They'd come away from the Test match for the horse racing and put the cricket on FilmFour - which meant, as a normal terrestrial viewer, you missed the game. What was more annoying though was that when they went to the racing it wasn't just the race - they'd do the build up as well. Still angry about it now.
