How do football supporters travel to football games?

Post by raz1996 » Fri Jul 12, 2019 1:41 pm

My name is Ryan and I am currently studying at Cardiff University. During the summer months of 2019, I have to complete a dissertation. For this I have decided to research how football supporters travel to football games. As a result of this I have produced a survey on the matter and will be extremely grateful if you can complete it for me. It will take less than 5 minutes.

A b4stard fan?

Forget that then then.

Think I'll decrease his chances of success so he cannot continue to fund that bad habit, finance that horrible club, and hopefully put pay to him possibly become a billionaire and buy the league title again.

I'll pass on your sh1t survey, and I hope you fail!.....
:o  ;)

If he’s a rovers fan, I reckon he’ll get over 50% going by horse....

Done it Ryan And I'll forgive you for being a Rovers fan...better that imo than Man Ure. But maybe one day you'll see the light ;-)

Good luck with your studies

done - although my reason for using a car is that public transport over 200 miles is practically, if not is, impossible.

Done although, like Rick_Muller, using public transport for a 300 mile round trip would mean being away for at least two days because of my location.

Happily completed. A football fan is a football fan.

The travel Qs re environmentally friendly, did not give the opportunity to say my choice of 'car' was deemed Env Friendly, as it is electric, which will look odd in the outcomes!

Last season I travelled from Fife to Burnley a couple of times on public transport,
Elie to Edinburgh (Stagecoach bus)
Edinburgh to Preston (Virgin)
Preston to Accrington (Norhern rail)
Accrington to Bacup (Mum's House) overnight stay...
Bacup to Burnley ...quite simple really although it means most of Friday is spent travelling waiting for connections and what have you.
