Burnley surprise package this coming season ?
Last season it was Westwood, for me he showed he was a genuine quality Premier midfielder. This season anyone you can see doing the same? Taylor prooved it last season in the latter stages and Lowton in spells but not for the full season.
I think JBG could be the one if given an injury free run.

I would like to think Brady. He’s quality and many gave forgotten just how good he was before getting injured at Leicester.

Brady is a good player no doubt, and he WAS starting to look really good before his injury, but I’m going for the iceman to show us how good I believe he is. Like Brady, only shown it in bits, but these two will be key to a better season I think.
There may of course be another player not here yet!!!

If (and its a big if) we buy a top quality midfielder to go in our starting 11 I think a big surprise for a lot of people will be that its Westwood who makes way and we will see Cork return to his 17/18 form as the other starter in the middle

Will Brady get the shirt off Dwight? More likely to become a utility player with his ability to play wide, CM or LB.
My choice would be Ashley Barnes to score 20.

I’m expecting to see more from Taylor.
He’s certainly started to show his worth, after perhaps not the most promising of starts.
I’d like to see him progress more offensively now (an area that was his strength at Leeds), similar to Trippier’s development. Focus firstly on getting the defending right and then allow a little more freedom to utilise great crossing ability.

With Pieters here Taylor will have to be very consistent maybe even move forward if we pack the midfield away ?,

The biggest surprise, boardering on amazement, would be Defour.

That was the reason why the results picked up in the new year. Dyche let the shackles off Taylor and gave him the freedom to push forward and link up with Mcneil. Pre Xmas fixtures Taylor hardly left his own half.DCWat wrote:I’m expecting to see more from Taylor.

All the credit that has been thrown at Heaton for our change of form in the new year is rubbish, the credit should go to the likes of Taylor, Mcneil, Westwood, and to a certain extent Dyche. Dyche had the guts to change his tactics in December after the players and him had a clear the air meeting after the Everton debicle

I know he has just joined us but I think Rodriguez will be the one and attract a lot of media attention

I too am hoping it is Brady. He is a skilful player and very much a confidence one. The crowd need to give him some time to get back in the groove. Lennon, JBG and Robbie are going to have to fight for that right side side along with Hendrick.

JBG has a poor season, but the year before he was outstanding.
I am hoping, and expecting, to see him back to his best.

This'll be a harder year for McNeil. He took apart Alexander Arnold. He took apart Clyne.
The scouting report on Burnley will be we know generally how to deal with Wood and Barnes, how do we set up to nullify McNeil.
