Why is nothing ever straight forward? Talk about last minute. Still nothing today which leaves me worrying if it will arrive in time for the season.

Due to the new stadium configuration - couldn't be sent out until all that had been done. It's not last minute, provided you have it for next week there's no problem.gandhisflipflop wrote:Why is nothing ever straight forward? Talk about last minute. Re: Season Tickets on there way
Which it is now August. I appreciate it may not be necessarily the club's daily but the providers however if I were the club I would be having serious words. Fans without season tickets they have paid for with just 5 working days to go before the season isn't good enough I'm afraid.

Nothing to worry about, worst case scenario it doesn't come, you'll be able to get a paper ticket, but they are all being sent out.gandhisflipflop wrote:Fair enough but I do worry they won't arrive in time.

Waiting on it arriving before I do seat swaps. If there are any left in the new block in CFS.ClaretTony wrote:Nothing to worry about, worst case scenario it doesn't come, you'll be able to get a paper ticket, but they are all being sent out.
Re: Season Tickets on there way
I'm sure there's plenty of people going on holiday this weekend who'll now be unable to pass their tickets onto someone else to use for next Saturday, meaning empty seats at our first game of the season.

sort out the seat swaps anyway - I did and I have been told to collect my new cards from the ticket office on match day or a couple of days before. It'll have to be match day for me though.mybloodisclaret wrote:Waiting on it arriving before I do seat swaps. If there are any left in the new block in CFS.

Re: Season Tickets on there way
I think people have gone OTT about wanting to receive their ticket earlier and I don’t care if mine doesn’t arrive until a couple of days before. But my dad has now gone on holiday, followed this week by my brother and their tickets haven’t yet been delivered to their addresses. Meaning I am going to next weeks game on my own next to two empty seats. Seems pretty unnecessary.

God some people do worry about stuff.....there is over a week yet to the first match....if all you have to worry about is a season card not arriving you are very lucky.

Wouldn't normally care when they arrived but was hoping it would be today to swap them tomorrow at ticket office for the new CF section, no arrival means a lengthy queue next week on matchday.

Got a mate coming over from abroad who will be using a mates season ticket ..... the mate whose ticket he will be using goes on holiday in a few days and will be missing the first game. The Enclosure wrote:God some people do worry about stuff.....there is over a week yet to the first match....if all you have to worry about is a season card not arriving you are very lucky.
Re: Season Tickets on there way
Yep mine not arrived and I’m going away tomorrow so can’t pass them on. I went into the club shop with my old season tickets to get paper tickets and they told me they couldn’t do this as the people I pass them onto had to come in with a printed email from me giving permission for them to have them. Talk about making it complicated!jrgbfc wrote:I'm sure there's plenty of people going on holiday this weekend who'll now be unable to pass their tickets onto someone else to use for next Saturday, meaning empty seats at our first game of the season.

Still not got mine. I’ve sent a fax as they don’t do email. Cashfliw is so tight they can’t be sent 1st class.Steve1956 wrote:The club are just waiting till we get the Heaton transfer money, then they will be able to afford some stamps to send out the season cards.

I paid for my season ticket around 180 days ago in full and yet have not received it a week before the season starts.
I pay Tesco on a Monday and get my shopping on a Tuesday.
How do you spell incompetence?

Which would mean setting off extra early to drive over and then queue with all the other unfortunates and people trying to sort other stuff.ClaretTony wrote:Nothing to worry about, worst case scenario it doesn't come, you'll be able to get a paper ticket, but they are all being sent out.
I, for one, hope sincerely that that particular scenario does not arise.
Re: Season Tickets on there way
There’s no excuse for sending them out this late. I’ve still not had mine.
I’d love to know the reason why they have left it so late - I can’t think of one logical explanation. As soon as we started paying for the tickets we should have had them within a few weeks.

TVC15, I agree. That's just ******** about the stadium reorganisation, all pre- planned work with a predictable outcome.

Tony - That is a pretty weak defence of the Club.ClaretTony wrote:Nothing to worry about, worst case scenario it doesn't come, you'll be able to get a paper ticket, but they are all being sent out.
How many premier league clubs will be telling their fans to go and stand outside in the rain as happened this week at two friendlies because we didn't have season tickets and were unable to load the match tickets onto our cards?
They are a piece of plastic that are programmed through a computer and take minutes to process hundreds of them.
We are going to end up with a whole load of empty seats against Southampton because of the inadequacies of somebody somewhere who nobody seems to know who he/she is.
It is a bloody joke.

I'm not defending anyone, I'm just stating fact, and I don't think for one minute there will be a load of empty seats next week.tybfc wrote:Tony - That is a pretty weak defence of the Club.

Re: Season Tickets on there way
A LOT of people are away on holiday who would have given tickets away to mates to use.ClaretTony wrote:I'm not defending anyone, I'm just stating fact, and I don't think for one minute there will be a load of empty seats next week.
2 of my mates are giving their tickets to people who would usually pay on the day ..... there might not be 1000s of empty seats but there will be quite a few unsellable seats around the ground which would have had a bum in them is tickets went out earlier.

Iam not too stressed about their late arrival, though it is a little odd.
What did stress me was the thread title. Sorted now though
