Finally we put some of the 110m to good use
Finally we put some of the 110m to good use
Today Burnley Football Club decided to spend part of the 110m income on treating the fans.
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Simon the squeegee.... £4.99 very well spent IMO

You know where you can shove that....
Re: Finally we put some of the 110m to good use
Finally dried ones socks and trainers, I'm sure next time theres a stadium facilities thread, someone will tell me "I'm just moaning and everything is hunkey dorey"
Or "report it to the club... again"
The fact they obviously know it's an issue ( due to the £10 squeegy) speaks volumes on where the fans stand in their list of priorities.
I wouldn't expect them standards at colne, it's a simple, grate, drainage issue, that's been going on 4 seasons now!

The worst thing is they have tarmacced the inside of the turnstiles and put a nice marquee up.
Could of used some outside.

If it's that simple Macca get your sleeves rolled up and get your hand down the grate yourself, you can't keep moaning on about this every season,I'm sure the club will thank youMACCA wrote:Finally dried ones socks and trainers, I'm sure next time theres a stadium facilities thread, someone will tell me "I'm just moaning and everything is hunkey dorey"

Theres not even a grate
If what's so simple
A club fetching in 110m a season and posting 30m profits not being able to put some adequate drainage in
Or
The fact it's been 4 seasons and still happening?
Both are shocking, but sadly not surprising.
Re: Finally we put some of the 110m to good use
Can you not email them about it?

I believe the club had been emailed several times, and the squeegy as a token gesture signals they are aware of it.
Just need the premier league to make it mandatory to have an entrance and exit where you dont need to wade through 2 inches of water, then we might see some progress come 2025...

Re: Finally we put some of the 110m to good use
How many times has the chairman’s lounge been redone since our first season in the prem?
How many times have the board had to wade through a mass puddle to enter the bob lord?
This is clearly up there with leaking taps on the clubs list of priorities. Yet there can be no excuse that we don’t have the money to fix all of these things.
Time for Mike Garlic to sit in the CFS for a game and to see the reality of our less than premier league standard facilities.

Is that inside the old Bee Hole End toilets?
Re: Finally we put some of the 110m to good use
Next time you need a number 1 or 2, just do it in that massive puddle. Before long, a giant floater might find its way to the Chairman's gob.

Well, that just looks like water, so I'm guessing it isn't.Hipper wrote:Is that inside the old Bee Hole End toilets?

Dear BFC.
Never mind the squidgy, that would have bought one of these at £5.98 per metre.
So about 10 of these, 2 men @ 3 days and connection to nearest drain.
Total cost less than £2000.
Which is a lot less than the claim coming your way when someone slips and breaks a leg.
You choose.
