anyone remember manuel and music of the mountains ...rodrigo guitar ..........i have had a listen and wow still good ....i believe he came from todmorden ...anyone confirm this ? great day saturday ...onwards and upwards UTC

He did come from Tod, was at the same school as my mum.

Think he came from Cornholme, mum said they were friends as kids, she lived in Cornholme.

There is a blue plaque for him on his old house in Cambridge Street near Tod town centre.

Yes my parents and granny all Tod born frequently mentioned him. There wouldn't be many "men of colour" in Tod in the 1930s/40s.
