Mighty Clarets versus Scousepool

Post by IanMcL » Sat Aug 31, 2019 1:39 pm

Big day for Liverpool. Finally getting to play a proper team!

Our heroes will show them how to be men.

Madge has rested up since Wedbesday and is raring to go.

She is making her way to the ground to do her make up.

Up the Clarets

Mighty Clarets versus Scousepool

Post by IanMcL » Sat Aug 31, 2019 2:54 pm

Madge is changed and ready and it's only 2.52! Perhaps she thinks it is a 3pm ko!

Either that or she is out to fire us up and shoo away the L'pool folks. Come on you MIGHTY HEROES.

Watched Sheffield U today. Thought they played well and were not unlike the Clarets. Villa got robbed at the end v Palace. How the hell have they got 7 points !!! Already looking like it’s going to be a very tough battle with every point vital. Newcastle got a point today despite the ball hitting a hand. Decisions like the villa disallowed goal and the Newcastle goal today and Wolves pen last week might just decide who stays up. Very unimpressed by by VAR so far

20mins and we look fine.
Plus side:Lennon, Lowton, McNeil and Pieters have so far shut down TA-A & Robertson.
Neg: our delivery from dead balls has been poor.

Ffs deflection goes top corner. Losing 1-0

Edit. Not sure if it was a deflection actually
