Feel sorry for Vokes, only reason he's not starting is cos he used to play for Burnley and Giggs discriminates against 'unfashionable' Burnley like all the international managers do

If he'd played for a big club like Leeds or Newcastle instead he'd probably be captain

Newcastle have a lot of fans, they aren't a big club though (or something like that) - probably the only time I've agreed with Michael Owen !

I think (or something like that) is the closest I'd get to agreeing with Owen too.

So Bale rescued Wales yet again, don't think a draw will be enough for them qualify, but they've got the NL as a back-up,Sam never even made a sub appearance.Ramsay missing through injury once again,he's not kicked a ball in their qualifying campaign, and unlike the bigger nations Wales don't have the strength in depth.

Wales seem to have a lot of decent young players and drawing against the World Cup finalists and matching them on the pitch is not bad going for such a small footballing nation.

On the negative side one of their exciting young players Dan James is earning himself a bad reputation. He clearly feigned a head injury and stayed down for 4 minutes - he’s been found out now and the Giggs press conference was a bit naive to say the least.
It’s the 3rd or 4th time James has cheated this season - United are in such a mess and with players like Pogba, Martial hardly role models and the weak management there is nobody to get hold of him and tell him to stop.

This was disgusting from James feigning being unconscious , let’s hope he doesn’t get a real elbow that knocks him out and play goes on as “ it’s only Jame’s play acting” seen him at it previous as well. Then you have “mr superinjunction” himself Giggs calling it “ street wise” ... beggars belief

Ben Davies rescued Wales.

Depth has always been a problem. Ramseys absence has looked a lot more noticeable with Brooks missing as well.
Kiefer Moore ahead of Sam I can follow. But Tyler Roberts ffs. He's not done much in the red shirt since the under 18 level. Callum Roberts took 20 minutes to wake up but right back is an issue going forward unless Cameron coxe progresses as well as James, Brooks, mepham and ampadu. He's a couple of years younger.
