Debbie Harry was sex on legs back in the day.
She'd suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

He's the best chat show host there is and his Saturday morning radio slot is pretty good too.

Haven’t seen this weeks episode yet but generally find him very entertaining and his guests usually seem happy to be there.
The one with Bill Murray and Matt Damon a while back was a great show.

I'm sure he isn't. And I couldn't care less whether he is or he isn't, but he does actually come across as the type who would actually say that, followed by `so ner`.Blyclaret wrote:3.6 million in wages a year.

Chat shows aren't really my thing, regardless who chairs it. An opportunity for `celebrities` to pat each other on the back, whilst keeping their faces on the tellybox.

Re: Graham Norton
Maybe but I think Norton bucks the trend a little by not being afraid to take the pi$$, however lightly, out of his guests and himself.
What he earns is irrelevant.

I have been lucky/unlucky to be in the company of high profile individuals during my working life. I always made a mental note of how they treated me or other people who were working for them or with them. I saw how Graham Norton treated a driver who was picking him up at Heathrow and he was courteous friendly and generally came across to me as a good bloke.

I agree whole heartedly with that mate, one of the worlds biggest stars Tom Hanks seems to be on it at least once a series, which says a lot for GN....a great chat show host. The Enclosure wrote:He is one of the best chat show hosts. He has the knack of making his guests relaxed and chatty and they all seem to love appearing on the show..Many return time and again.

Re: Graham Norton
Doubt there’s a “ celeb “ in history who has ever gone on a chat show because they wanted to . They’re legally contracted to do publicity for their latest projects .Norton being a high profile show the agents no doubt pay top dollar to get their clients on .That said I’d imagine being on GN is one of the more palatable gigs of a publicity stint

Re: Graham Norton
There was a time when I couldn't stand him but I have warmed to him and he does seem to make people relax. His real skill is in his ability to make those who would otherwise be up their own ar*es actually laugh at themselves, it's a kind of subtle lack of celebrity respect, done in a nice way. To be fair though I don't watch him too much and when I do it's usually on catch up.
Jonathan Ross rules though.

Graham Norton is tremendous...on TV and Radio. Used to really like Jonathan Ross on TV. Had the misfortune to watch it on Sat night tho. Woeful fare (that said his guests were poor)

Re: Graham Norton
Sometimes old Johnny will have guests that I've never bloody heard of, which kind of detracts from the enjoyment but nevertheless I do like him. Recently on occasions I've found myself having to Google a guest to see who they actually are. On Saturday I'd only heard of Iggy Pop and Jack Whitehall. I didn't realise Iggy was so damn small.Marney&Mee wrote:Graham Norton is tremendous...on TV and Radio. Used to really like Jonathan Ross on TV. Had the misfortune to watch it on Sat night tho. Re: Graham Norton
I remember the first time Tom Hanks was on. I didn’t think he would be very good for some reason but he was excellent. Graham Norton seems to get the best out of guests. I don’t think Miriam Margolyes has been on for a while though.Steve1956 wrote:I agree whole heartedly with that mate, one of the worlds biggest stars Tom Hanks seems to be on it at least once a series, which says a lot for GN....a great chat show host.

Re: Graham Norton
Easily the best chat show host on TV.
Great guests and yes lots of them are plugging films etc but that’s fine.
Tom Hanks is always brilliant and seems a genuinely nice bloke. Will Smith is also very funny. I know someone who got tickets for the live screening a few years ago when Will Smith sang and the guy who plays Carlton joined him on stage - she said that the crowd were going absolutely crazy !

Re: Graham Norton
It’s strange but you get it into your head sometimes that an actor will not be a good guest and that’s how I saw Tom Hanks. How wrong I was. One of my favourite guests is Julie Walters but she’s not been on for a while.TVC15 wrote:Easily the best chat show host on TV.
