Championship shirts
What's the logo on every players shirt in the Championship,a small logo before every players name on the back of their shirts?

Re: Championship shirts
It's for the league's charity partner Mind, a mental health charity.
Re: Championship shirts
It's like a little bee sort of shape, I've also seen it, but as Frank says it's for the mind charity although I recognise the name over the logo to be honest.

Ah, a charity partner.FactualFrank wrote:It's for the league's charity partner Mind, a mental health charity.
Sets up that space nicely for a proper sponsor when the current arrangement runs out.
Or so says the cynic inside me.

Re: Championship shirts
It was their designated game last night as it is Sheffield United’s today. I didn’t notice but if some of them weren’t wearing one on their shirt then it is their choice.Steve1956 wrote:Some of the Barnsley team have poppies on their shirts others dont ..strange

Re: Championship shirts
No it’s not disrespectful at all, it’s choice. I choose to wear a poppy but others choose not. It’s a personal decision and it would be so, so wrong to force anyone to wear one or not wear one.Steve1956 wrote:At least six didnt have poppy shirts on,very disrespectful.

Re: Championship shirts
A lot of people don't wear it because they believe it's lost its real meaning.

Re: Championship shirts
Every year we get the poppy fascists trying to dictate to all and sundry that everyone should wear one.
Soldiers died for our freedom... that includes the freedom to choose whether to wear something or not.

I haven’t purchased a poppy. Does that make me disrespectful?

Re: Championship shirts
It depends on their reasons for not wanting to wear it. We'd need to know those reasons first.Steve1956 wrote:Ok no worries, the shirts will all have been embroided with a poppy, all they had to do was wear the shirt, that's not to difficult for them is it?

Re: Championship shirts
Match worn poppy shirts have raised millions for the charity, what reason could they have, half the team didn't wear one last night, denying the charity money because the shirts wouldn't be match worn and pretty useless,I don't want to come across as a fascist forcing people to agree, but if this is causing divisions scrap it it's not worth the f*****g hassle.FactualFrank wrote:It depends on their reasons for not wanting to wear it.
