Netflix / prime recommendations

Post by cricketfieldclarets » Thu Nov 07, 2019 5:23 pm

As thread title. Ideally films. Not bothered for box sets and series.

Some that I’ve enjoyed:

Amazon Prime

*Goliath - Billy Bob Thornton legal drama
*Sneaky Pete - Giovanni Ribisi (he’s been in Friends and a few other programmes) crime drama
*Outlander - time travel

Netflix

*Ozark
*Narcos
*House of Cards
*Unabomber
*Wayward Pines

Netflix - Moneyball

Prime - The Founder.

Both excellent films based on true stories.

I was thinking of Shutter Island when watching Fractured. Not sure if I’ve seen Flight Plan.

Good film.

The actual person, Billy Beane, is part of the consortium that owns Barnsley.

I think it's versions of his system that's used at places like Fulham, but I could be wrong.

Lads I have a Prime subscription but since getting Kodi installed all I seem to use the Firestick for is watching porn  Think I'm hooked! The add on is called Ultimate Whitecream if you fellas are going to track it down (and I know most of you are!). I spent most of my weekends crouched in front of the big screen when the missus is out with Mario :) its a habit I can't seem to shake  it's so arousing seeing these women on the big screen rather than on the laptop, they're almost life-size and it's like I'm in the scene with them!!

They applied the system at Brentford but I'm not sure if they still do.

Just seen the Irishman will be on Netflix this month. Will be top of my list to watch. Meant to be a great film and it stars De Niro, Pesci and Pacino three of my all time favourite actors.

Exorcist trilogy always a safe bet for the horror fans... Some fantastic performances from Ellen Burstyn, Jason Miller and Max von Sydow. Always gets the pulse racing. Don't make them like that anymore. Love the subliminal messages Freidkin stuck in there as well. Fantastic stuff.
