Can't really argue with our position in the running order, bearing in mind the dreadful first half.

Re: Match of the Day
Bit odd for a 3-0 away win to be so far down the pecking order. But that first half was diabolical.

Spurs would have been put 1st,as soon as the special once came back, whatever the result

I’m sick of the spurs media love in one manager leaves who has never won anything and moody Joe from Mexico gets another high paid job until he gets fed up and leaves please change the record.
Re: Match of the Day
Personally I could give a Rats Arse where we are on MotD ... we have gone back to 6th.... Record it and watch at your leisure ffs if you absolutely have to ....

Jesus, WHU are terrible. A couple o consolations, but they're awful.
Re: Match of the Day
Ironic Shearer waxing lyrical about a team not playing correctly who are destined for the drop; his managerial career was hardly a resounding success .

City looking good again. Think they're ready for any slip up by Liverpool.
Gonna be a good battle up at the top.

Don't discount Leicester either, they won't win it,but if injuries don't bite they could push City for 2nd,they've got their swagger back under Brendan Rodgers.ElectroClaret wrote:City looking good again. Think they're ready for any slip up by Liverpool.

Re: Match of the Day
hope they remain consistent with VAR for the pushing and shoving in the box, the one palace had struck off was technically accurate, but usually its like a wrestling match in the penalty areas, and the useless officials allow all sorts of shenanigans to go unpunished.

Thought that was a very fair performance by Palace. We'll need to be on our best form next week.

Ridiculous dive from Maupay. Commentators refuse to say the d word.
And the 'penalty' for Leicester was so soft.

They're not exactly looking like world beaters. God, if there's one club I'd like to beat this season, it's them.

Their defence is non-existent,and how Southampton didn't kill that game off IDK,and it cost them 2 points.Wile E Coyote wrote:most of the remainder of the programme will be wasted on Arsenal analysis
Re: Match of the Day
Hilarious how the Gooners were singing " we got our Arsenal back " when they won a couple of games under count duckula.

Any bets on who commentated our game? I'm going for the "irritating voiced" lady again.

yes, 3-0 away win, and no doubt we'll get shoulder shrugs and smirks and quickly move on from jug ears and cowhiffa wrote:Any bets on who commentated our game? I'm going for the "irritating voiced" lady again.

Burnley have picked up one point in their six away games so far.

Re: Match of the Day
Despite his history I’ve always thought Shearer has been very complimentary about both SD and us.
He recognises that we have a system & a method of getting results and we do what we do well

Re: Match of the Day
Lily (Robbie) Savage is always highly complimentary of our system and says we play 'effective' football. He said, on 606 the other week, that history only shows how many points you get and where you finish at the end of the season. There are no style points to be won by anyone.

And don’t forget Shearer and Savage only played for ‘smaller clubs’. So none of the usual sucking up to supporters of the big six.

Re: Match of the Day
There were 5 goals in that game. That is apparently one of the main criteria. Throw in Mourinho and it’s obvious which game would be first. Can’t really argue.tiger76 wrote:I bet Spurs wouldn't have been TOTP if Poch had still been in the dug-out.
