Clubshop
Anyone have any idea whether the club is having a black friday sale. Last years was really good and have the day off this year so would love a visit early friday to bag some bargains
Re: Clubshop
Not sure but they’ve already started reducing some training wear (bench jacket and gillet) to half price over the last couple of weeks.

Re: Clubshop
Something I'm surprised about is how mediocre the online club shop is. You'd think with the money they have, they could have spent a few grand on some top notch web designers to make it look like the dog's gonads.

Re: Clubshop
The online shop is shocking. Supposed to have been updated and made better but for the life of me cant see the difference. Wouldnt cost a lot to get a proper firm in to design a nice online clubshop

They need a lot more products on there too. The choice is too small.

Agree with thatFactualFrank wrote:They need a lot more products on there too. The choice is too small.
A lot of the stuff available in store doesn’t appear to be listed online

Re: Clubshop
The staff in the shop are brilliant. Always helpful and smiles on fa es. Just if you not from the area trying to buy online is a nightmare I would imagine for those a bit further afield

Re: Clubshop
I can only think it's down to one of two reasons:
1) The people in charge of that department aren't techie and/or business-minded enough to know what needs doing to improve it, or,
2) The demand just isn't there. If not enough people want to buy things online, there may be no need to spend time on it.

Re: Clubshop
They have some great offers that you can only purchase at the shops.
Why they can’t just add P&P I’ll never know. So frustrating.

I agree Frank. We should be attracting purchasers worldwide now.FactualFrank wrote:Something I'm surprised about is how mediocre the online club shop is. You'd think with the money they have, they could have spent a few grand on some top notch web designers to make it look like the dog's gonads.

Re: Clubshop
I’ve ordered a couple of items from club shop in the last couple years, never had an issue, always arrived in good condition at my door within a week. Overseas shipping is a flat rate, no matter the location.
BTW, in post #2, ‘burnmark’ mentioned a gillet, I’ve never heard that word before, had to look it up. We called such items a vest.

They've removed the click and collect option to online orders, because they are busy.

Why isn't the Turf shop open on a Sunday, especially in the run up to Christmas, they must have too much money!
