Thanks for your patience and welcome back
It's just been a few days we didn't expect to be honest. I suddenly found it almost impossible to post on the message board or update the site during Friday morning as the whole thing ground to a halt. I quickly let dibraidio know and he's worked tirelessly over the last few days to get us back up and running while also taking the opportunity to update the software which was needed. It might mean you see some changes.
If you find anything not working correctly, please post it on this thread and we (or dibraidio hopefully) will take a look at it.
Thanks all for your patience and continued support and a big thanks from me to dibraidio.
Tony

Cheers Dib, it's like a long lost friend returning.
I have noticed that, unless you're logged in, you can't see who's logged on.
Is it just me ?

Could you see who was logged in before when you weren't? It is an updated version of the message board software and we've found that some things are just not the same.Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 9:03 pmCheers Dib, it's like a long lost friend returning.

CT, when a link is opened it now doesn't open in a new window. It closes the UTC window and
opens the link in it's stead and so the "back button" needs to be used to get back on to the forum.

Only just tried this for the first time today, good to have y'all back folks.
I'm not sure if it was the same for everybody but when it was down the main page header backgrond was in orange, thought the site had been hijacked by Blackpool fans.

Okay dokay - it's a lot slicker site now in my opinion.
Still looking for the "home" button on the righthand side though.

Re: Thanks for your patience and welcome back
and the world starts to turn, again.....
I've been wondering where everyone had gone.... and what they were doing.
And, we had no site through 2 home defeats. I'm sure that saved a few finger nails and more.
So, what are the new features on the site? Why has CT got a little "contact CT" link against his name (no, I don't want one for me).
Well done to the tech guy(s).

This: https://archive.org/details/KamaSutraRidesAgain" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The return false on window open might be the problem but is above my pay grade?
Just found that line should be replaced with:
onclick="return !window.open(this.href)"
And it will open in a new window.

Really happy this is up and running again, well done indeed to those responsible for tweaking dials and doing soldering way into the night .

It's hard work supporting any website on a voluntary basis and trying to juggle it around work and other commitments.
Having been in the same position myself I can only offer my thanks and appreciation

Good work getting it back up and running.
With the last 2 results as has been said possibly the best time, although the built up anger and frustration among those who cherish a defeat may make for some hard reading for the next few days.

Well played team. Great work.
It's times like this when you realise how much this forum means to so many Clarets all over the place. Be it keeping up to date with all things Burnley, reading some of the daily squabbles or just a bit of company.
Cheers CT and team for all your hard work.

Thanks to all concerned for getting the site back up and running. Perhaps a blessing after the last two abject performances. I've no doubt the site would have gone into melt down on Tuesday night after that non performance against City, especially given how easily Palace beat us. Hodgson certainly has Dyche's number.
