Re: ARTICLE: Huddersfield take Hart
CT - at the start of the article you say he is moving to take up the same role, but then towards the end says he says “I’m delighted to be joining Huddersfield Town as chief executive"
Makes you think/reads that he's going in as chief executive of the whole club, not the community scheme.

Re: ARTICLE: Huddersfield take Hart
Very aggressive, single minded and ambitious man - I'm not surprised he's taken a role like this.

Sometimes it is good to have a change. Hart is very driven and it will be difficult to find someone of a similar ilk.

yep, sometimes fresh ideas can be worth their weight in gold, whoever comes in walks into a much healthier position though !ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 5:52 pmSometimes it is good to have a change. Hart is very driven and it will be difficult to find someone of a similar ilk.

Re: ARTICLE: Huddersfield take Hart
It had been run into the ground by the two previous people running it so he virtually had a clean sheet of paper. First thing he did was set it up as a charity and then it’s moved forward significantly since then.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 6:53 pmyep, sometimes fresh ideas can be worth their weight in gold, whoever comes in walks into a much healthier position though !
It’s maybe got involved in some things that it shouldn’t but it’s achieved some wonderful things such as the disability sport project, Whitehaugh, Leisure Box and the Community Kitchen. Absolutely no doubt he’s leaving a legacy.

Re: ARTICLE: Huddersfield take Hart
I did some work with him through the the Community, and when he came in you could tell he knew what he was doing.
What’s he’s done in the role has been magnificent, and he leaves behind him a fantastic legacy.

Without a doubt he knew what he was doing. He’s done a similar job at Watford.claret2018 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 7:50 pmI did some work with him through the the Community, and when he came in you could tell he knew what he was doing.

Re: ARTICLE: Huddersfield take Hart
Ahh I thought he was the chief executive of Burnley in the Community, and was going to be Huddersfield Town Football Clubs chief executive.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 3:48 pmI haven't - it says he's taking up the same position (which is CEO) at Huddersfield Town Football Club.
Which would be 2 different positions obviously.
My apologies.

Re: ARTICLE: Huddersfield take Hart
The position is chief executive officer - that's what he currently holds at Burnley FC in the Community and what he will hold at Huddersfield Town. The position is exactly the same, just with two different companies.

As you say, you’ve read it completely wrong. I’ve tried to explain but you don’t even seem to have understood that. Thankfully everyone else seems to.
Re: ARTICLE: Huddersfield take Hart
I understand what he did here, and what he has gone to do at Huddersfield, but didnt understand the "same position" comment it threw me.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 8:48 pmAs you say, you’ve read it completely wrong. Re: ARTICLE: Huddersfield take Hart
Reneged? Not going? What's happening? Taking Baldwin's role instead? Interesting.

For the pedants, Fishermen and to answer chuckies question I get the impression he is going to have the same role he held with Burnley in the Community ie CEO.
