Blackburn rovers..
On there way back to the top table... you've got to admire the venkys backing the ranch And Tony Mowbray has done a cracking job turning it around.

Re: Blackburn rovers..
Mowbray is a good manager. Was hoping they potted him after that poor run.
Hope they don't come up. But if they do at least it would give us a bit of extra in the league. Someone asked me the other day who our rivals are in this league and realistically we don't have any real rivals.

Looking forward to the accy clarets to blackburn thread. 2 Seats please leisure
Re: Blackburn rovers..
If they come up Venkys may try to sell. They will be in deep trouble then.
Would be good to play against them though in the Premier League but I can't see it happening.

Re: Blackburn rovers..
They'll collapse on the run -in, like PNE usually do.
Although the traditional Dirty Leeds collapse doesn't look like occurring this time, unfortunately.
But it wouldn't particularly bother me if they came up, we'd batter em.
That sodding rigmarole with the coaches is rather tiresome, though.

Re: Blackburn rovers..
They've had to go on a ridiculous run just to get up to 9th. They'll bottom out into mid-table obscurity by the end of the season.
Re: Blackburn rovers..
I think they have a good chance of the play offs and they've got a manager that knows the ropes of course the Venky's would want promotion for the financial gain, if only for a season ... but would the fans? A few weeks ago a WBA fan was on a phone - in and he said he would love the Albion to win the league if they could hand promotion to a club that wanted it, I knew what he meant. All fans love watching their team competing and winning, remember the season we came out of the 4th Division away days every other car you saw had an Endsleigh man hanging in the rear window we gave most clubs their highest attendance culminating in that wonderful night in York. It may have been a 4th Division teams success but it was our 4th Division team and we loved it.
