Agreed. And if Grealish ever learns it's not all about him, he'll be some player too.

They’ll get the cheque book out in January to replace him!

Big blow to Villa he's been immense in the past year, also a huge blow for Scotland,as he'll almost certainly miss their Euro play-off games,

If Villa do take the drop he's one that'll attract interest from the big boys,he's shown how capable he is at this level now.

Hope he's OK.
Not going to pretend I'm not pleased he's out of our game against them, but it could easily happen (god forbid) to one of ours.

Lousy thing to happen.

Not much room to do any big spending... they are in real danger of falling foul of FFP restrictions. They only just avoided them getting up I was reading the other day.

Justice rarely seems to happen regarding FFP. They'll happily splash the cash knowing a fine will be well worth it.

Based on yesterday's highlights their defence should be a bigger concern for them.

McGinn is indeed a really good player, but going off his display against us at Villa Park he loves to throw himself to the floor at the slightest touch.
Villa will certainly miss him though.

We were discussing potential relegation candidates on the way down yesterday and I threw Villa into the discussions. One of our group thought they would be OK provided they didn't lose Grealish or McGinn to injury and hours later that's just what happened as they lost to one of the three below them.

Villa's next 3 games - Norwich H, Watford A, Burnley A

Make or break for them, without McGinn and no goals from front men

Watford - Sheff Utd A, Villa H, Wolves H

Norwich - Villa A, Spurs H, Palace H
