Great. I don’t think Dobey will let the crowd affect him but she’s playing well enough to beat him anyway.

De Zwaan has all the tools in his locker: he’s a wonderfully talented player. Just needs a tad more consistency. When he finds his next level, he’ll become an elite player.

. thinks MVG will be getting another free ride to the semi finals. By his reckoning, Bunting (17th) will be the highest ranked player MVG will have to face up until the semi final. Should MVG beat Bunting today, he will face Beaton or Labanauskas in the quarters.

Aspinall vs Anderson should be close. Anderson not playing his best darts, but is a better player than Aspinall.

I'd love her to win. I'll be surprised if Dobey doesn't come back into this though once the nerves settle.

And I like Dobey, it doesn't matter who she's playing though, they will get booed.

Or maybe not.

Great start.

Must be hard when the crowd is against you.
Her finishing is winning her the legs.

That's her game though, she's always been good at finishing. I do want her to win, and I'm a fan of Dobey, so we shall see. This, along with so many good players this year for me is making it the best tournament in the last 10 years.

Match will ebb and flow.

She missed her trebles that leg, if she was closer she could have taken advantage.

But great match.

There were a lot of people up this end of the world shouting for Chris Dobey, including a lot of lads who used to play football with him in the local leagues.
Well done to Fallon she has certainly made her mark and done much for the progressof women in the darts world.

He's a good lad and always very complimentary of who he is playing against. She'll be back and do better next year. Imagine if she was against an actual prick like Price, Taylor or Wade! The arena would be in meltdown.
