Re: Referee confirmed for Peterborough game
VAR in a cup game is utter nonsense, had the fixture been reversed there wouldn't be any.

Re: Referee confirmed for Peterborough game
It's ridiculous to have a competition where something is used at some games and not at others. Goal line technology will also be used but wouldn't be at Peterborough.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:10 amVAR in a cup game is utter nonsense, had the fixture been reversed there wouldn't be any.
Ties with VAR are:
Arsenal v Leeds
Bournemouth v Luton
Brighton v Sheffield Wednesday
Burnley v Peterborough
Chelsea v Nottingham Forest
Crystal Palace v Derby
Leicester v Wigan
Liverpool v Everton
Manchester City v Port Vale
Sheffield United v Fylde
Southampton v Huddersfield
Watford v Tranmere
Wolves v Manchester United
The other 19 ties won't make use of VAR unless they are Premier League clubs playing away and they get a home replay.

We had him.at away at Burton , he aldo did WBA v Leeds,.
He's one of the next batch of referees they're preparing to make the step up.
He's from over Mike Dean's way, so hopefully he'll be taking him under his wing and he turns out to be half decent.
