Same as Lowbank.
Started going on in '66, and unless there's an unresolveable diary clash (or I'm away), I go on, - no matter who we play.

Absolutely not.
Going to Manchester for the day with the wife, few beers, nice meal and then we are watching The Bodyguard with Alexandra Burke.
Ps wouldn't go if it was free

If you`re not going then you`re a plastic and should never whinge about not having enough points for Manyoo away or Spurs shiny new stadium.
P.S. I`ve already seen Alexandra Burke in The Bodyguard and yes, I would...

We are going because if we were to win the F A Cup this season I would be gutted if I had not been to every match
Dare to Dream
And yes I would take relegation and winning the Cup

Yes I’m going but I don’t know why. When tickets went on sale I bought one out of force of habit.
I need to stop and think before buying cup and even league away tickets in the future while Dyche is our manager. I’ll renew my season ticket but only because I’ve nowt better to do most Saturdays

Why? Same reason as I went on to Burnley v Colchester in 1986. Because I'm a Burnley supporter, it's what we do.

Would be the crowning glory for Dyche.
Win the FA Cup and then walk away with his record enhanced.

You’ve got to take the rough with the smooth.

Definately, its the FA cup and we are in it to win it UTC
Re: Are you going the Peterboro game? If so, why?
To me being a supporter, means you support the team not only in good times, but when things get rough, in fact the team probably need support more in the bad times

Yes, because Im hoping he plays some of the young lads, and i wanted to see how close to breaking through to the first team they are.
Re: Are you going the Peterboro game? If so, why?
Yes. FA Cup 3rd round weekend always falls on or near my birthday so it's a good excuse for a few beers with friends. Even my wife and three lads are coming to this one. But....if this turns our to be another horror show it will be my last cup game under this regime. I get the need to make changes, what I don't support is treating it like a glorified training game with players out of position just to get game time or fill holes and players going through the motions.
I don't have a problem with anyone who chooses to stay away after the pathetic displays in all cups over the last few years. If the team and manager don't give a sh!t, you can't expect supporters to either. Minimum requirement is maximum effort, and all that.

Re: Are you going the Peterboro game? If so, why?
Yes, because I support Burnley.
If you support then you support, if you like them then you pick and choose your games that is how football is. A phrase used before which has always stuck with me is jumping on a bandwagon during a good time makes it hard for some to continue when times aren't great.

Have as much interest in the cup as the team has over the last few years. Gave up after the Lincoln defeat. We are in the cup to be inevitably speared by lower league clubs . I cannot face it.

Do you class the upsets we caused over the years as good days ?
When we beat Liverpool 1-0 did you sit there and claim ahh but Liverpool didn't take the cup serious or did you enjoy it.

Irrelevant as we have had no cup success under Dyche , really this is about us not trying to go through now and showing very little effort . Do you want me to sit there and be happy for Peterborough when they win ?. We consistently play dire in the cup and it is not coincidence that we go out to lower league clubs each year. They are not interested so why would I be.

Fully expect so, I actually think he doesn't know apart from the Lincoln one.
People love the cup due to the upsets over the years, we have had 1 against us and people have cried for years about it. It is boring and dumb

Re: Are you going the Peterboro game? If so, why?
Man City, Man City, Lincoln City, Arsenal
That’s as far back I’ve gone. Well beaten by City on both occasions. We got out-lumped against Lincoln. And Arsenal we never beat anyway.
The general frustration comes from our performance in other cups. I don’t care whether it’s the Carabao Cup or the FA Cup or a Tea Cup, as fan giving up my time to support my team I expect a performance.
Last went to a cup game v Burton Albion in which we were easily beaten.

Re: Are you going the Peterboro game? If so, why?
I’ll be there.
After taking my wife to each of the Accrington, Lincoln and Sunderland debacles, I promised myself not to bother again. The recent league performances make the prospect of tomorrow’s game even less appetising, yet I’m still going in the hope of seeing a decent game from Burnley.
It’s the hope that gets you in the end.

Re: Are you going the Peterboro game? If so, why?
I'm looking more forward to this game than a premier league match, because there's more chance we will get to see some of the lesser used players rather than the same old 11 we've had for the past 2 years. A welcome change of scenery.
Re: Are you going the Peterboro game? If so, why?
Ok it may take a while as I have no interest and it is at the bottom of my priority list. come on you can do better than that give it a happy clapper jibe as well.
I bet high on your list is logging in though 2 minutes after the next defeat with your crying little claret n blue tissue box
Re: Are you going the Peterboro game? If so, why?
I'm supportive of the team and class myself very low on the list as moaners go. I back Dyche and the club by attending home games and financially with my season tickets but criticise his support from the board financially. I won't be complaining win or draw Saturday as I am not interested in a competition the club are not interested in. And on league position and form currently I'd be happy for Dyche to play the kids Saturday and take the first team for a behind closed doors game and a serious training session maybe some morale and team bonding trip Sunday and get the wheels back on securely.
I'm not alone on this have a look around tomorrow and you will see.
