Tomorrow's attendance
No idea what time to set off. Usually leave my place about 90 mins before kick off to allow for traffic and travel time. I believe Posh have sold around 1600 tickets. Has anybody a rough estimate of the expected attendance. Might get an extra half hour in bed

Re: Tomorrow's attendance
5-7k I would think.
I reckon there was only 15-16k on against Villa. 1000s of ST holders never turned up.

Re: Tomorrow's attendance
8 thousand tops I reckon. Will be nice to have less traffic at least.

19.561 against Villa. Must be like the 1000’s who aren’t renewing.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:02 pm5-7k I would think.

Re: Tomorrow's attendance
Going to guess at 6,000. I set off to get two tickets today actually got to the ticket office and couldn't face it and it was only a tenner and I was there!
Don't think I've ever been less enthused for a game. And its not to do with recent games either. Its our general apathy towards cups full stop. I expect we will win and we should win comfortably. But given amount of games ive been recently I think id rather have the day off and do something with the family!

Yeah, that was the tickets sold.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:08 pm19.561 against Villa. Must be like the 1000’s who aren’t renewing.
There were big gaps all over the stadium where ST holders usually sit.

Re: Tomorrow's attendance
I, and many more, know just how you feel and isn't it a sad indictment of the state of the game control. I won't say the game because the game is still the game ... it's cash unfortunately all about being able to pull the udders of the cash cow.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:09 pmGoing to guess at 6,000. Re: Tomorrow's attendance
I think in part too I have had too much football recently. Actually never off the tv and obviously so many Burnley games in December. And when you come on here it just amplifies it

I'll give it 2 minutes before we hear "Premier league, you having a laugh"? From the Posh fans!

Re: Tomorrow's attendance
So, just over 1-Hr before they were scheduled to report for duty on today’s match, the club have now decided to stand-down kiosk staff - is the projected attendance suddenly that much of a surprise to the ‘management’ of the club?
Re: Tomorrow's attendance
I can't really see the logic in opening every section of the ground for games like this. Throwing money down the drain on stewarding costs/catering staff.sportak-mustgo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 9:26 amSo, just over 1-Hr before they were scheduled to report for duty on today’s match, the club have now decided to stand-down kiosk staff - is the projected attendance suddenly that much of a surprise to the ‘management’ of the club?

Re: Tomorrow's attendance
It explains the lack of transfer business even though its still early days but lets be fair we all know the end result
