When did Burnley fans become......

Post by Bin Ont Turf » Fri Jan 10, 2020 10:47 pm

Too lazy, too "cool" or too fragmented to start singing some original/different songs/chants?

Was it when the history of decent music ended in the mid 90's?

If you've ever seen the state of some of our more challenged fans in the CFS, it's hardly surprising.

Ring of fire... FFS!

Can you please define 'challenged fans' for me?

It will help a lot.

If you want a sing song, go to a cockny pub or a Welsh festival. If you want to watch football, go to a football match.

I think that your imagine is running away with you.

But let's say it isn't, how do you explain when the Colombian dust bowl and Ecstasy turned up in the late 80's and 90's did "we" still knock out a few different songs/chants?

It's the fragmented thing I mentioned isn't it (and shite music)?

Who knows? Perhaps there weren't as many users of the drugs you mention, that were Burnley fans. Perhaps they weren't using during games in any great number?

One can only speculate, but as Roy Walker would say... say what you see :D
