Charlie Taylor

Post by Tricky Trevor » Sun Jan 19, 2020 4:21 pm

Can’t believe more fuss wasn’t made on the MDT. Absolutely no interference by Cork on Schmeichel before Charlie smashed it home. Dreadful decision by Taylor and as it was a goal why didn’t he go to VAR? or had he blown before?

The ref has absolutely no reason to blow the whistle but when he does it’s quite a few seconds before the goal is scored. We are getting this sort of stuff against us a lot this season where a nonsense decision stops one of our better moves.

I must admit I thought the officials were poor today. No consistency in decisions given.

In today's game the refs shouldn't be blowing for the above incident, VAR can make that decision without penalising any teams. Again, more examples of how we are using the technology badly rather than the technology being bad!

His header when he was last man almost certainly stopped a goal, brilliant crosses too
